Thermal binding fun!
Love this thing! It definitely takes practice but that's the fun of crafting. There are so many fantastic YouTube videos out there with really good tutorials.

Works well for binding books I made from printer paper.
Perfect for binding books of patterns I purchased on Etsy or for journal making! The only trouble I had was getting the “We R Makers” binding components. I bought generic binding strips in wider widths and will make my own paper binders to use with it. The “We R Maker” binding components are only one size and can only bind about 20 or so pages. The machine is capable of binding wider width books, but you have to purchase generic wider binding strips to do so. I have no experience with other heat binding machines, so it may be that there is a less expensive unit that performs as well or better than this unit.

Easy to use, good value for money. Good quality, not sure if I did things correctly but for my first try, all the paper didn't bind properly.

Very disappointing – caught fire and exploded after light use
The media could not be loaded. I was really excited to use this Thermal Cinch Binding Machine, but unfortunately, it turned into a very dangerous and disappointing experience.I bought it in January 2025 and only used it about seven times. I always followed the instructions carefully. The last time I used it, I plugged it directly into the wall, waited for the machine to be ready, placed my book using a baking paper sheet to avoid sticking, and pressed the timer. Within seconds, smoke started coming out, and the paper and notebook cover burned.I unplugged it immediately and waited until the next day. When I turned it on again, it literally exploded, a spark came out, and the electricity in my house went off because it triggered the safety breaker.This machine is clearly not safe. It is unacceptable for a product to fail so dramatically after such light use. I’ve contacted the manufacturer to claim the warranty since it’s been less than six months since I bought it.Until this is resolved, I cannot recommend this product. Please be cautious if you are considering buying it.
