Retro and current all at the same time.
It’s a reprint from 1972. It’s a Vogue pattern just as you would expect. I made the dress and love it so much that I just ordered the alternative version V2040 as well. Now my daughter wants one too.

The best dress pattern to have on hand
These dresses go anywhere. The trick is to use the right fabric and change up the details to make them unique. This pattern is a great basic starting point.

Great pattern, but not for beginners
The pattern says "Very Easy Vogue", but I wouldn't necessarily recommend this one for absolute beginners. The instructions are good but definitely take a bit of sewing knowledge to parse. I made the dress though and it turned out great, and has great potential for customizing. WIll definitely be making this one again

The original wrap dress, which flatters most body types
A classic style from the original creator of the wrap dress, this pattern is a vintage one reintroduced to a contemporary audience. I like that the pattern can be customized to your style needs - short sleeves or long? Mid-length or maxi? - and the ease of making those adjustments. I am a casual sewist at best, and in need of practice, but with patience I was able to produce a pretty good-looking dress from the pattern.
