Good quality

Easy to fit, although the auto- closing flap is a bit awkward and requires pushing in the hood cover side tabs fully for the flap to freely move. Other than that it does the job.

Good value for the money it is vet suitable for where I live as it is very windy and we don't get a back draft from the outside, it gives good venting to the outside. Ideal for what I required looks nice and neat finishes the job nicely.

A bit flimsy but working ok

Not very good at all. The sides were. Concave causing the flap to stick. Not worth the money. I'm sure they're are better ones out there.

I used this to route a portable airconditioning unit exhaust through my house wall. I had purchased something similar from another nrand but it looked too big on the wall. This one was more pleasing to the eye . It works very well. I put a slope on my pipe through the wall to ensure any moisute in the cavity drained away from the inner leaf. This causes a small problem in that the flap of the cowl moves to the vertical and away from its seat creating a small gap. I think the design here could be improved but i suspect most people will drill through horizontally and wont have this minor issue. So this one is good enough, looks good on the wall and is a good price.

Again very expensive, thin, flimsy, noisy cheap flappy thing inside, fits very well the 6 inch pipe, but no way worth 15 pounds. Loses two stars because of this, 7 or 8 pounds would be more appropriate.

Sadly, the cowl had not been assembled correctly and this caused the sides to be bowed in and this stopped the backflap from operting. However the application of a heat gun to reform the sides and the correct assembly fixed the problem. Clearly more TLC is required during assembly.
