Great that you can get high quality cables cut to the length you require and delivered the next day. Needed a short piece to install and outside socket backing onto an existing ringmain. This cable was perfect, high quality solid core 2.5mm with thick insulation. States the outer diameter is 11.2mm I think but I used a 10mm masonry and wiggled it a bit and that was fine, that was through your standard concrete block and using the hammer on the drill, this tends to oversize holes slightly anyway.

I didn't realise when I bought it that this is not armoured cable which was what I was after. I can't complain but I think the seller could show a close up of the cable so buyers like me can see how it is constructed. On the plus side it is much more flexible than armoured cable so much easier to fit. It's good cable for the duty it is intended for - just not armoured.

Built a shed to store mobility scooters and needed power from house to shed for a socket and a light I needed tough cable but didn't want to pay the price of SWA as the cable would be buried under concrete I came across this cable by this seller and ordered it the socket and light is now wired in I found this cable east to strip and terminate will be ordering again to hook electric up to a greenhouse

This is a decently tough solid core cable. I've used the 3 core variant in a number of projects without any issues. Like all tougher cabling it can be a little harder to work with, but is a lot easier than full on armoured cable which in my view is great under ground of in high traffic areas, but is ott for low or zero traffic zones particularly where the cable can be seen clearly and thereby respected such as high up cable clipped along a wall.

I have used this cable to install LED Floodlights in my Workshop attic and I was afraid that it might not be flexible enough for the job, but it has worked wonderfully! Good tight inner cables and well insulated, waterproofed, outer cable - great buy and at a good price>
