20 pack of 1.5v AA batteries. Great way to stock up on some quality batteries. The ones I have used so far have been lasting quite a while. Working well in a pair of game controllers and a remote.

A few years ago I did some research and learned that at least some people who seem to know recommend opting for generic alkaline batteries over name brands. So we usually opt for a store brand when we can, as they seem to work approximately as well as the well-known battery brands, and they certainly cost less. These AA batteries seem to fit in the same camp. There's been no noticeable difference when we've installed them. And they're cost effective. So unless you're needing high-quality batteries for advanced electronics or for some high-capacity usage, these are probably worth a shot. I know they have been for us. (And at the rate our kids burn through batteries in gaming controllers, RC cars, etc.), I'm grateful to have lower-cost alternatives like this one.

All 20 batteries measured between 1.641 and 1.648 volts. This is typical of new alkaline 1.5V batteries.Each set of 4 batteries are shrink wrapped in clear plastic which is nice to keep the terminals from shorting out.They are marked made in China. There is no manufacture date nor any best buy date that I could find so it is hard to tell freshness. Hopefully the manufacturer and the warehouse will rotate the inventory to keep them fresh.

These batteries worked better than some name brand batteries I already had in the battery drawer. I tried the ones I had in a small light. They were dim. Swapped them for these and it got brighter.

I have been using these batteries to power some string lighting and candles for my nightly decor and they all work great, providing great brightness and power.
