A very good and timely buy
I was looking for something quick for my 5 years old son and i came across this Scooter. It was well design, strong and reasonable in price, thus i decided to buy it. Though it was a bit tall for him, even when adjusted to the lowest extremities. This being said, it means He will grow into his scooter, and because these scooters are extremely strong it wont break that easily, in fact I (118KG dad) went on this scooter and it was smooth and was able to support my weight with no problem.I decided to buy this again for my other son, because it was such a good buy. Its easy to assemble, and I would highly recommend this scooter to all parents.

Kids kick scooter
Product fine, but no packaging apart from the product box. The box was badly damaged, the delivery note was stuck firmly to the box so damaged it further when pulled off, and as I took the item from the delivery man all the contents fell out onto the floor! I read a previous comment last year about poor packaging - so come on , sort this out before you get complaints about damaged goods! When you buy a new item for a present the last thing you want is for it to look as if it came from a car boot sale!

OK
My son is 4, his other scooter broke. He's got good balance, he can ride a bike without stabilisers and he'd had his previous 3 wheel scooter (mini micro) since he was 2, so I thought it was time for an upgrade. This one is fairly big for a 4 year old and nowhere near as much fun for him as the old scooter was. He tried it a few times but now refuses to ride it, so I've put this one away and got him another one similar to his old one...... a good quality 3 wheeler is definitely more fun.It does fold well, and there's nothing particularly wrong with it, just doesn't seem like as good a ride as the 3 wheel scooters.

Great fun
I bought this scooter for my 7 year old son for Christmas and he loves it. He has moved away from the branded products such as Ben 10 and Transformers so this simple design with electric blue wheels was right up his street. It is lightweight and whizzes around easily. The adjustable handle bar is brilliant and I know I can get a couple of good years use out of this before he has grown out of it. The price is very reasonable although I have also bought the pink one for my daughter and I am quite annoyed that the pink ones cost more for the same design. However, still a good and reasonably priced product.

Okay but.....
This is very good value for a child's folding scooter. However there are niggles. Parts of the stem are quick to show rust marks even if it only gets a little damp from riding in the rain. Also the plastic insets on the ends of the foot plate need gluing in or they tend to pop out when your riding.

Perfect gift
My 6 year old grandson loves this. He used to have a 3 wheeled version but now he is all grown up he flies on this!

poor quality
I bought this for my son's birthday in August, we use it daily for the school run and by September the pin which holds up the handlebars and allows you to adjust the height had snapped. In October I returned it to Amazon who were super helpful and sent a replacement. Now the replacement has done the same thing so I'll be returning it for a different model. I hope that Razor are reading these reviews because I can see I'm not the only person to have scooters break in this place! This is a manufacturing fault and could be very dangerous. My older son has another type of Razor scooter and it's been great. Shame this model lets the brand down.

Only lasted 6 months!
I bought this scooter for my 6 year old son for Christmas. It lasted exactly 6 months. On the plus, when it works, it is smooth and quiet and can go quite fast. However, a couple of months into its use, the front wheel kept jamming (thankfully not when my son was riding it). I got the wheel bearings replaced for a couple of quid which was fine. Then on 25th July the little metal button that adjusts the height bar snapped off, no way of fixing it. My son cried the whole way to school! It's good value for money when on offer, yes, but I would expect a scooter to last longer than 6 months. I wouldn't buy again.
