I recently purchased the DJI Mic 2 (1 TX + 1 RX) wireless microphone, and I couldn't be more impressed. The audio clarity from this transmitter is outstanding. Voices come through crisp and natural, with minimal background noise, even in busy environments. The wireless connection has been rock solid, with no dropouts or interference so far.It pairs quickly and is ready to use within seconds, which makes it ideal for filming on the go. The compact size means it’s easy to clip discreetly onto clothing, and it’s lightweight enough that you barely notice it’s there.Battery life is impressive, lasting through long shooting sessions without the need for constant recharging. Combined with its portability and ease of use, it’s a brilliant tool for content creation, interviews, or any scenario where reliable audio matters.

The DJI Mic 2 transmitter is a fantastic piece of kit for anyone serious about audio. The sound quality is excellent – clear, crisp, and professional-grade. It's incredibly compact and easy to use, clipping on discreetly and pairing seamlessly with the receiver. Very simple to use with my Osmo Action 4, seamless connection and excellent sound quality albeit yet to be used more robustly. It was able to pick up my voice despite being out of line of sight, it also worked with third party Asmark batteries that come with a charger, so there's no conflict with using other third party products. Once it is turned off along with the camera, when turned back on it connects automatically. This is not however the case when changing batteries or at least what I experienced, however the connection process is just the same and it is quick. Having used GoPro in the past, I now think DJI is the leader in action cameras, they are also innovating whilst not forgetting their whole range and striving to improve what they already have. The Osmo Mic 2 transmitter being one such innovation which now seamlessly connects to the Osmo Action 3, 4, & 5pro.I can't speak to the battery life but I do trust DJI on their estimate of 6 hours, however I'm sure most people will have the opportunity to keep it topped up in any given situation. Although it is very small and lightweight I believe under most circumstances it will be quite robust. I think the magnetic attachment is extremely sturdy although personally I will probably use the clip, also the dead cat wind muff gives a reassuring snap when clipped into the top, just make sure you hear that reassuring click. Buying this for your audio needs is a no-brainer.

Brilliant mic, the battery life lasts a while, the brightness of the TX receiver isn't the brightest, its quite hard to see it outside on a bright day. the portable carry case is brilliant, it fits all the accessories the mic comes with which is very handy. The audio from the mic is great quality. There are other mics that are cheaper but does not compare on the audio quality received from this mic. Good value for money and is very functional
