difficult to attach tiny screws
to fix on shoes you need a tiny philips screw driver soft material that wears down quickly i was looking for the old spiked ceggs, found these difficult to attach

Good, but smaller/thinner than expected
I do like to have metal tips on boot heels and toes: it saves them from wearing out so fast, and tehy do make a good noise when walking! These certainly fit the bill: I've used hammer-in tips before; screwing these in seems much more secure. We'll see how long they last: they did strike me as being on the small side, and a bit thin. But overall, if they save a trip to the cobblers, they will have more than covered their cost. The screws supplied with them were just right.
