Alimentum
My CMPA baby was miserable before switching to Alimentum at about 2 months of age. Almost immediate improvement in gassiness and fussiness. Stool also stopped being mucousy. I expected the taste to be awful after tasting partially hydrolyzed Gentlease, but surprisingly, this doesn’t take half as bad. Baby also accepted it right away. Pediatrician recommended Alimentum and Nutramigen but only gave us samples of Alimentum, because they didn’t have any Nutramigen samples left. Glad we tried this first - Nutramigen is a lot more expensive and harder to get for some reason. My only complaint about this is the packaging. What is up with these cans? Quite inconvenient for traveling when baby can’t finish a whole can (8oz) in 1-2 feedings.

A Game-Changer for Our Colicky Baby
I understand that every baby has unique preferences when it comes to formula. After trying several options for our colicky son, we discovered that the Similac Alimentum Ready-to-Feed formula was the only one he tolerated well. We've been using it for over six months now without any issues. The convenience of the premade cans is a significant advantage, especially for on-the-go feedings. It's reassuring to have a reliable formula that our baby not only accepts but also thrives on.Highly recommend giving this a try if you're navigating similar challenges with your little one.

Unacceptable Quality – Most Cans Arrive Damaged
This has become completely unacceptable. Every time I purchase the 24-pack of Similac Alimentum, the cans arrive dented—sometimes severely. If 8 to 12 cans are actually in usable condition, it’s a surprise. This isn’t a one-time issue; it happens every single order. For a product that is both expensive and essential for infants with dietary sensitivities, this level of negligence in packaging and handling is outrageous. Families relying on this formula deserve better!

Great size and very convenient!
This is a bit expensive, but that's to be expected with custom, pre-mixed formula. The order comes in a nice size box and each little can is the perfect portion. It's so easy to take along or use when we're watching our grandson.

Buy the Cans NOT the Powder
The ready to feed cans are definitely worth it. In my opinion, don't even bother with the powder formula. We found out our baby had a cows milk protein allergy so we tried this brand's powdered version first and he HATED it! It smelled terrible and led to many stressful bottles. After scouring the internet, I found that the ready made formula supposedly tasted better and I couldn't agree more. First off, the first ingredient listed is water instead of corn...already an improvement! His bottles go so much better now. Seriously, don't waste your money on the powdered version. Cans always! The price really isn't that different anyway!!
