If you aren’t dermaplaning/shaving, please reconsider!
Dermaplaning (aka shaving) my face has become a regular part of my self care routine and I’m highly impressed by Billie razors. I’ve tried others before and this product - when used correctly - is gentle enough for regular usage, affordable, easy, and extremely effective.I cleanse my face first, thoroughly dry it, place a couple drops of Timeless squalene oil all over, and gently use the Billie razor to remove dead skin cells, peach fuzz, and the occasional longer, dark hairs that crop up on my chin or the sides of my mouth.I use a light, but firm grasp to shave most areas of my face going against the natural growth of the hair. Avoid going over the same area unless you still see peach fuzz. (This could be a result of a dull blade or not gently, but firmly shaving the area.) I also rinse the razor frequently.I shave my cheeks, chin, above and around my mouth (mustache area), directly under my jaw and chin, and my forehead if needed. I shave in between my brows carefully - it’s easy to slip and take off more than intended. I rarely need to shave my nose although the dermaplaning aspect can be beneficial. Occasionally, I’ll shave my neck if I see any hair growth.(I do my eyebrow tweezing and waxing separately.)Once I’m finished, I cleanse my face and put on a light layer of squalene oil. My skin is extremely sensitive and I have never had redness or irritation after using the Billie razors.Don’t worry - your hair won’t grow back more quickly, darker, or thicker. Well, my mine hasn’t nor has this happened to other women I know who use this method. My skin is so smooth and silky after. My foundation goes on beautifully without any clumping or pilling, which can happen if your dry skin built up and/or your peach fuzz is even slightly present.I find that using this method on average once per week plus using a gentle but effective exfoliant like Dr. Melaxin’s Rice Peel Shot (either the black or white rice version) keeps my skin free of any dried, dead skin and wonderfully smooth, soft, and silky.Be certain to change the blade. If your skin build up or hair growth was heavy, you might find you need to replace the blade every 1-2 uses. Other times, one blade might last 4-5 usages but always err on the side of caution. A dull blade can cut you. I judge whether it needs to be changed based on the appearance of the blade. If it looks even slightly dull, change it. If you see any rust at all, change it. Always dry the blade to ensure that it doesn’t get rusty, but even doing so, the blade can develop rust.I’ve tried other razors at different price points and this is my favorite. The curved handle is really nice, too.

Perfect!
These are very good quality. I just used them for the first time. I pressed down a little too hard and I do have a few cuts but nothing you can see now on my face. You really do not need to press down at all - just be very gentle. Definitely worth the money.!

PCOS APPROVED!
As a girl who struggles with PCOS everyday, I get pretty stubborn and strong hairs on my chin, mustache, and NECK especially. I've always found dermaplane razors to be essential to my routine, but always stuck to disposables. I love Billie's razors so I thought what the heck and bought this simply for the cuteness, and less disposable life I'm trying to live. I was so taken aback by the QUALITY of this razor. My skin is ultra smooth and I barely touched it to the spot! I've never used a disposable that came close to this one, I will never use another razor than a BIllie razor.

Really like this dermaplaner, but I get cut by the sharp edge of the blade even when careful.
First, I really do like this dermaplaner set. The handle does not feel flimsy, and it's easy to replace the blade heads (they just lightly snap into place and you cannot mess it up, lol). I'm a non-binary trans person on testosterone HRT, and I can't stand the teenage boy 2nd puberty lip and chin hairs and they have GOT to go. My skin is extremely sensitive and fragile due to medications, and using a regular electric shaver/razor/wax always ends up giving me issues, but I have 0 problems with skin irritation from these. It's great for removing dead skin and keeping my skin texture smooth. Just make sure you keep your face moisturized with lotion so you don't dry out; if I don't keep my face moisturized adequately, I get flaky skin a few days later that can be pretty annoying to cover up. If you have any pimples with whiteheads, be very careful around it (it can be easy to slice over the head and make an open wound, when you really should leave it alone!!)I give it 4 stars though because, like many others have said, the edge of the blade is sharp all the way to the end, and I cut myself pretty much every time on the angle transitions on my face even when I'm being very careful (going between the apex/hollows/apple of my cheeks area especially). I think this could be easily fixed if they just rounded the edge of the blade at the end!

convenience
sometimes there’s no time to get in store, or sometimes it’s just plain sold out. the product itself works as it should
