After a lot of product comparisons, I decided to purchase this Set of Two Oakten Tire Chains. I was a bit hesitant at first because the price of these Oakten chains was considerably less than other brands I looked at, and also because these chains fit a few different tire sizes. But since the price was right and the description stated that they would fit the rear tires on my MTD/Cub Cadet XT1 (which are 20x8.00x8), I went with them. Quite simply, these are the best lawn & garden tractor Tire Chains I have ever owned!First, these Oakten Tire Chains have TWICE as many cross-chains (the chains that go across the tire) than any other brand I've owned. Nearly every other brand I looked at has only 6 or 8 cross-chains per tire, but these OakTen Chains have SIXTEEN (16) CROSS-CHAINS PER TIRE - one on every second link of the outer side chains! This translates to much better traction, and a slightly smoother ride as well.Secondly, these Oakten Tire Chains were priced $20.00 LESS than the next comparable brand, and $40.00 LESS than the MTD/Arnold brand (which had only 8 cross-chains). So purchasing these was a no-brainer!As soon as I received these Oakten Tire Chains, I installed them onto my lawn tractor to make sure they fit - and they fit like a glove. Absolutely perfect. I also purchased a pair of Tire Chain Tensioners along with the chains (which I highly recommend for a nice secure fit), so plowing my driveway this winter should be a breeze!

good chains. Did the job and heavily built. 3 stars on installation as instructions not very clear and that made them harder to install. Recommend these.

I bought these in the off season after using my lawnmower to plow my driveway last Winter, and now we had our first big snow so I got to try them out. Relatively simple to install, but I felt like I could never get them tight enough. They would fall off and/or not stay on well, so I bought a couple packages of small bungee cords to get the chain tight on both the outside and inside of the tire and worked like a dream. They didnt move and stayed on snuggly, giving me great traction in the snow. So make sure to buy some bungee cords or there's fasteners I saw you can buy.

They are fairly easy to install and fit exactly as expected!! Now the true test will be durability in the winter ... I will update after the winter I have high hopes

Easy to install. Fit my 48 inch Husky mower perfectly. I have a one acre back yard with terraced hills that the stock tires wouldn't climb. With these chains I can go anywhere in the yard except the cement driveway. They will leave marks.

Fit my 20x8x8 lawn mower perfectly and worked as advertised. I did use chain tensioners but I probably could've got by workout them not 100% sure about that
