I received this set at a promotional price, but my honest review is:I think this an excellent set and excellent value. The price is not shockingly high like most matcha sets are, which I respect because it helps people get started making matcha. The whisk itself is worth more than half the price in my opinion. The bowl and whisk holder are way more visually appealing to me than other products that might be found in this price range.I would like to note that a small strainer would be important to making matcha, however, since this is an item that is most people's kitchen already I like that they can keep the price lower by excluding that. I feel like I could gift this to people making matcha for the first time (and afford it better by instructing them to use a strainer instead of paying an upcharge greater than the strainer value).The presence of a spout is very useful as the same bowl can be used for drinking matcha or making matcha and pouring it into a latte. In fact, many things could be made in and poured from the bowl. I like the color and feel like all of the designs complement the color of matcha well. I got the purple which is an even nicer shade and sheen in person. The whisk holder was larger than I am used to, but works fine. I don't think it would be a problem. The pieces do not feel fragile, which is surprising for nice they look. So I think it would be a great everyday set!! Very satisfied, especially with the durability, color, and spout.

Very nice set, especially considering the price! It’s beautiful, the chawan is wide enough to comfortably mix matcha and the spout makes it very easy to then split it between smaller cups! The green color of matcha beautifully contrasting the dark interior of the chawan. And the set arrived very nicely packed – would make a great present. Love it!

I got those to follow my passion with matcha tea ceremony. All the items are good quality and I loved using it every second! I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This is the second set I have purchased. The first set, from a different company, was poorly finished so I returned it. This set is gorgeous. I got the black. Easy to wash, carefully packed, and the bowl sits well in my hand while whisking. Highly recommend, would make a very nice gift.

This is my first experience with a matcha set, so I cannot compare it to others. The bowl is beautiful; however, I found the strainer holes to be larger than those of matcha strainers from other companies I've used previously.

For this price I expected a quality check on all the products. I got mine and the whisk was cracked. So disappointed. Edit: the customer service is beyond amazing! They resolved all my issues and sent a replacement since my product was defected. I would highly recommend this!

I really like this matcha set, especially the finish. Its got this very down to earth matte but burnished look to it. It feels great in your hands, its got just enough texture and the finish almost reminds me of leather. Its a great sort of in between a rough glaze and burnished raw clay. The bowl is also a bit smaller in size, and I find it fits in my hands much better than my other set. I have small hands and the bigger bowl there just doesn't have the same feeling. For me this bowl is just perfect, its got a beautiful rich color too, with just a hint of metallic, its similar in nature to some raku glazes I've used. I think its a lovely set, for a commercial one, and is wonderful to use.

This set is nicely packaged and contains everything I need for a proper matcha tea preparation. The whisk blends the tea easily and the whisk holder is excellent for protecting the slender arms. The porcelain bowl and the bamboo measuring spoon together create a perfect matcha. The set encourages me to take my time and be in the moment as I prepare and sip my matcha each morning.
