Easy to use and good for portrait photography. Might not stand up to heavy use.
This has given some nice results when coupled with an on camera flash gun. Especially useful for portraits. It is a little cumbersome to use and you have to be careful when it's in situ, but overall I rather like it and the cost is negligible compared to professional equipment. Easy to set up and pack away too. Definitely for occasional (and amateur?) rather than robust use, hence the fours star rating, but I'm happy to recommend this for the home photographer.

Surprisingly good value for the money.
Fantastic value for the money and surprisingly effective. Quite fiddly to pack away, I'd STRONGLY suggest watching the YouTube video showing you how to do that. Once you've got the hang of it, you're sorted!!

Functionally great, a bit clumsy to use. Great value
It does what it says on the tin. Nice even light all around when using mid to full power. On the lower flash settings you can see a slight light fall off at the top where the speedlight enters the unit (due to the internal reflecting panels) but this is not noticable in any catch-lights.Usage is ok but it can flop down a bit with a taller speedlight (not all brands are the same height).If you're using a zoom lens and the zoom ring is near the camera body then you can just about reach in to adjust it. But if the zoom is near the filter end then you need to reach round the front of the soft-box to adjust it - this is very clumsy.Used off-camera on a light stand it is great too providing a beauty dish catch-light.The one thing I hadn't considered when buying this was that the photographer is hidden and it is a bit difficult to engage with the subject from behind it.

A brilliantly simple and effective ring light
A brilliantly simple idea well made and fits easily onto your camera. The ring flash provides a great light for portraits and with home made templates for the front gives fantastic shaped catchlights in eyes or on sunglasses.Have no hesitation in recommending this item

BEAUTIFUL RESULTS AT LOW PRICE
Absolutely stunning portable light ring for those much saught after beautiful catch lights in some very soft portrait images... Definitely recommend.. The only reason I left 4stars for ease is it is a little tricky to fold and get back in the pouch 🙏
