Anbernic popped up on a twitter feed and was curious. When I got it I nearly broke it in the first week. I unknowingly changed a setting as I playing with it and it stopping working properly. I reset everything and it was fine. I played around with a variety of games and everything played fine. It blew my mind how many games were on it. Pokémon, Battle Network, Crash, Spyro. It also blew my mind how easy it was to add games. Just drag and drop and boom. I love this thing and I highly recommend it.

For the second time I powered on this, I choose the console I liked, and chose my game, and selected it. As soon as I clicked the game all the buttons stoped working, I could not skip the intro. After waiting through the whole intro multiple times and powering off and on the buttons still did not work. I pressed every single button and none of the worked beside the power button and restart. The worst product I bought in my entire life, never get this product. 🤮🤮🤮🤮

It's amazing how much technology has come since I was a child. Case in point...this portable Anbernic handheld gaming device. Such an awesome little piece of tech. But it has its flaws.This is ny second one because the first one would not turn on after I let it sit overnight full charged. The seller quickly sent me a replacement so that I could review it on a trip I was about to take. Here's my take after having this a few months. First thing you should do is buy a name brand SD card! Don't even think of using this without backing up the SD card it comes with! Don't do it. The bios and everything needed to operate the RG35XX is on that SD card and it can and WILL be easily corrupted just playing games. My second RG35XX failed during the first flight on my trip. Found out it was the SD card. Glad I bought a better one and copied everything! I put the latest OS on mine and it has been stable ever since. Now on to the games. Many of those games I played as a kid in the 80's are here. And from most systems you would be wanting to play. You may have to fiddle with settings to get some to play, but for this price point, you can't go wrong. The screen is pretty clear and form factor is ok in my hands. I like that if fits in my pockets. Very travel friendly.I also like that there's many videos about how to setup the RG35XX , if you have any problems.In conclusion this is pretty cool. But it is not for children. More for a nerdy tech guy like me. A child is just one improper shutdown away from bricking this. The multiple interfaces are hard to get used too. But if you do get one for a child. Backup that SD card and keep a spare handy. You'll need it.

Great controls, good screen, awesome build quality. Can run N64 games decently as long as you use the gfx plug in “rice” which takes some messing in the settings to do. Speakers are pretty subpar but do get loud enough. Shoulder buttons have a loud click which isn’t my favorite. Does come with a decent selection of games. Once custom firmware comes out this thing will be a beast.

Opened the box it came in went to turn it on and the console’s screen proceeded to switch on and off and simply would not work. Even returned it for a new one and the same thing happened twice. PLEASE DO NOT BUY!!

The media could not be loaded.  I originally had just the Rg35xx but didn't like how it felt in my hands. So I ordered this rg35xxh and perfect lots of games and good battery life to play them! Would recommend!

Instant issue not getting passed boot up screenDid have to update software and works fine now and I enjoy it

The housing was built good , but a couple lag due to slower processor. Game is a plus.
