Safety bar is good for showers
The bar is of decent quality and finish. There is no template in the kit so you need to hold the bar level and plumb (and over stud locations behind the tile). This is quite a juggling act to get drill holes marked without slight movements between marks. The customer experience would benefit with a paper template added to the kit to tape on the wall. I also am not thrilled with the lag anchors (double male threaded bolts with securing nuts). There is no tool to drive these lags into the wall studs so there is a lot of tedious work to secure bolts properly. Installation difficulty is high with no template and no driver for wall lag anchors.

You'll need hanger bolts to secure the middle flange.
I bought this to install in my in-laws' bathroom. It's very sturdy and well-constructed. The instructions are sparse to say the least, so I watched a YouTube video to get an idea of how to install it. The unit I got had 3 flanges that go against the wall for mounting. Each flange also has a cover to hide the screws and make it look professional. The 2 end covers can slide along the bar so you have easy access to the mounting holes. What I didn't realize is that the middle flange cover can only slide up about an inch before it hits the bar...picture a T. The instructions did mention something about hanger bolts, but only included nine 2 inch philips head wood screws along with 9 plastic anchors...NO Hanger Bolts. I had to make a run to the Home Depot to pick some up, which wasn't too difficult. I got some 10-24 1.5 inch bolts and some 10-24 nuts. However, installing the hanger bolts was a major pain...especially going into the stud and since I didn't have a driver. It took me a long time and I messed up one of the bolts in the process. I eventually got them in and then mounted the middle flange, and used this as a guide to mark and drill the holes for the 2 end flanges. It took me most of the afternoon, but it looks good and feels secure. My in-laws were very happy with it, but I just wish I had known about the need for hanger bolts beforehand. I probably would have opted for just a straight bar instead.

Good product
Very satisfied with look, quality, size and function for my 80+ year old parents. Round mounting part attached at the corner was difficult to put a screw into it; otherwise it was very doable.

Handicap Rail, right side. Make sure of your Wall Stud spread
Wish the mounting holes had been drilled and spaced all 360 degrees of base. Make certain to sell holes into wooden wall studs; the included drywall mounting inserts could easily fail if real weight pulled on them; it could tear out of drywall.

Nice quality but very difficult to mount
The finish of this l shaped grab bar is very good. The biggest problem is mounting the center support. The trim cover cannot be removed to allow access to the screw mounting flange. It would've been better to make a 2 piece cover to allow access with a screw driver to drive the screws in straight. With the cover in the way, you can only drive in the screws at an angle. Otherwise it is a nice bar for the price.

Solid Construction, Design Flaw
I was pleased with the quality of construction. Solid welds of the attachment plates to the steel tubing. Nice finish to the stainless steel material. The cover plates cinch onto the attachment plates with a simple twist onto a bent tab of the attachment plates. Lots of holes in the attachment plates for anchor positioning. I installed this item myself and immediately discovered a design flaw. The cover plates for the attachments at each end can be slid along the tubing to get them away from the attachment plates, thus giving the installer plenty of working space and options for installing screws into the mounting surface. However, the cover plate at the center is confined to short length of the perpendicular tube, less than 2 inches long. This makes it nearly impossible to drive a screw through the holes of the attachment plate because you can't get a straight alignment to the holes cover plate. I resorted to predrilling the holes for these screws and then used hex head screws that I drove in using a open end wrench.

Just what a grab bar should be - solid
Good quality but the packaging was a bit lacking - I only received three screws when it'll take at least 6, preferrably 9 screws. That's ok though, I have screws that will work fine.
