Nice addition to an electronic work bench. Works fine however if you happen to bump the voltage knob and say you are powering a 3v device well that could damage the device. So it is a good variable power supply for many things just put it where it will not be disturbed. I do recommend it.

Good price, meets all power, specifications, reliable.
I’ve purchased approximately a dozen of these units over the years to power, various access control, and video surveillance projects. These power supplies are well built, rugged environmentally, and very reliable. As a nice touch, they give you a barrel to screw terminal adapter, which saves hunting for one. This lets me wire these up in a snap to virtually any Circuit.

Perfectly Fine; Would Buy Again; 18AWG wire Adapter "ok"
Does what is says. One star off because the adapter for connecting 18AWG wire is pretty lame and the screws don't hold the wire well and the green plastic screw housing strips easily. But I had already ordered a female 5.5x2.1mm socket with 18AWG wire already attached to use.The build quality of the actual adapter itself is good and on par with most any other 12V adapter you might buy.Bottom line is I would buy again, but if you plan on using the wire terminals, buy a $4 prewired female 5.5x2.5mm socket pig tail too.

Works as expected, but too soon to know about its longevity
Works as expected. Cannot say much about its longevity yet. It's very light. It arrived well packaged.

Not 3A. Unreliable. Doesn't last. Don't buy.
Have not had an issue with a power adapter in 20 years of networking, until now. Purchased this to power a $1,800 PTZ camera for a client.Camera started malfunctioning. We thought it was the CAT6 cable, replaced with CAT6A (10GB) cable... camera is mounted 35ft high. Cable run is almost 100ft. Very laborious work.Power adapter showed light/functionality the entire time, never thought to check the "output".Upgraded/downgraded camera. Finally, decided to swap out the power adapter with a DIFFERENT one altogether...voila. Problem solved!Never had this experience with any power adapter before. They either work or they don't. This one works, but does NOT output 24V 3A as stated.Huge nightmare and cost us hundreds of dollars in unnecessary cable and time to troubleshoot.Don't buy this!

Good power supply.
This is a great power supply the adapter tips cover almost everything. I tried this with a new HP all in one and apparently they are now playing games with power supplies. If it’s not HP coded it won’t work. However, this supply is exactly as advertised. Great deal.
