Spanish for Kids: 10 First Reader Books with Online Audio and 100 Words (Beginning to Learn Spanish) Set 1 by Language Together

I know these books are designed to teach children Spanish. However, I am planning an extended stay in a Spanish speaking country and I wanted to be able to speak at least rudimentary Spanish and these books are perfect! They very simply teach basic words like numbers, colors, animals, articles of clothing, body parts, etc in context and in an easily understood, story like way. These are things you must know to provide a basis for more complex learning. I'm very happy with them

My child is just starting to learn Spanish, and these books are perfect — simple, engaging, and really fun to read together. The online audio is a huge help for pronunciation, and the repetition of the 100 key words makes learning stick. We’re only on the first set, but it’s been such a positive experience that we already plan to get the other sets once we finish this one. It’s a great way to make learning Spanish feel exciting and manageable for beginners. Highly recommend for kids just starting out!

Loved the simplicity, the repetitiveness, the translations, the explanation sheet. the URL for audio link and teaching resources. I used them for a week with my 2 1/2 yr old (pretty sharp) granddaughter. She kept asking me to read them to her, and we added books a bit at a time. She was knowing some words already! We loved that the colors book showed the blending of paints to make new colors! Her parents were also looking at the books and learning too. I left the set with them to use as a family. They are all excited about learning (relearning some) Spanish! Being bi-lingual, I’m thrilled! Very happy with the choice of this book series. We got set 1. Glad to know there are additional sets available to keep building the vocabulary.

My 6 year old grandson likes them but he went thru them in a few hours then lost interest. Prob an online interactive app would be better for young kids.

Very good books for little kids or anyone who wants to learn Spanish. The books have simple sentences with translation in the end of each book. Pictures are black and white except for the new word and the object that the new word means. The books have fun stories and kids like them. Good quality. Good value for money.

Our 3 kids are learning Spanish, French, and Chinese with Germaine Choe's Language Together series. What can I say? Their system- the books, the illustration, the audio lessons online- all work fabulously. Yes my kids are all still young, so of courses they will learn quickly especially with the 30 minutes every-other-day audio lessons. But wait, what's happening? I find myself speaking the new languages with the kids too, and I am in my mid 30's! If they ever come out with other languages (we are currently fishing for Hebrew and Arabic programs after this encouraging result), we are clicking the purchase button in a heart beat. Whether you are homeschooling or not, try the Language Together series... you will see what I mean.

Great little books with very simple language that will help early learners of Spanish with letter sound association and basic vocabulary. However, one of the titles has the inner pages for a different title. Fotos Locas should be about the face and body, however its pages were the pages for Veo Colores were erroneously included.

I purchased this for my two sons, ages 8 and 5, to transition them from learning phonics and vocabulary in Spanish to reading. It is perfect! The translations in the beginning and end really help bridge the gap as they are learning. Both breezed through the books in less than an hour because of how engaging they are. I will have them review over and over until they can share their understanding and use the sentences themselves. I have yet to use the audio function but it should be a another great help. I plan on buying Set 2.
