Our tracks saved the day!
Our family enjoyed a week on our RV in Pismo Beach. We enjoyed three different spots right on the san on our vehicle. These tracks save the day three different time as we parked on soft sand away from the water. The RV came out fast and easy. If they worked on a rear tires of a 31’ RV, I am sure they must work phenomenally on an off road vehicle. Well made with great materials.

Saved us over $1K on a tow Saturday 5/10/25 in the Mojave Desert -- GET A PAIR!
I don't generally write lengthy reviews, but I feel compelled to, because spending $80 on these recovery boards before heading out to the Mojave Desert just saved my friend from having to spend $1K+ to get his car out of a bad spot in a canyon where reversing out would have been impossible. It was forward, or nowhere. He's an adventurous type and extremely good sport, but his car had absolutely zero business being back where we were (I run a 2022 Subaru Forester Wilderness & didn't encounter a single issue the whole trip). He got a flat tire following me through the Mojave Desert outback in California this past weekend. So, we jacked his car up and replaced it with the donut tire he had in his trunk. Just about a mile later, with NO OTHER ALTERNATE ROUTES, we came to a completely immovable/impassable boulder in the middle of the path for the clearance height of my friend's car. We set up the recovery boards, as well as some rocks from the ground around the area, and slowly guided the right side of his car over the boulder. It was a process which took almost an hour, and he still ended up with a little scrape on the bottom of his muffler. But in the end, we got him out of the desert where he was able to hop straight on the highway and go home safely. Because his car was already on a donut which had replaced his flat standard tire several miles before, had we not had these recovery boards, we would have been facing having to call a specialized tow service to get him out of that situation. At one point, while traversing the boulder, the underside of his car caught the carry handle end of one of the recovery boards, and bent the board considerably (As seen in third photo). THESE THINGS ARE STRONG! They flex like you wouldn't believe without breaking. They are made of extremely tough, durable plastic, that you can trust in a situation like the one that we faced. Don't think about it. If you play out in the Mojave Desert, or ANY desert for that matter, get you a pair of these boards, if not TWO PAIRS. I'm about to buy a second pair now. In the harshest locale possible for humans beings possible on earth, there is absolutely no such thing as being "Overprepared" for a situation like this.

Does not include hardware
Woulda been five stars if it came with the mounting hardware at the same price.

Used these three days after I bought them.
I don't know about the durability of these boards, but they do work. Three days after I bought them I used them to get a 2WD Nissan out of an exposed muddy lake bottom. So I would say they already paid for themselves. I don't know if they are the best, greatest thing out there but they worked and seemed like a reasonable price. I did not get the set with the mounting brackets. I will probably go back for the brackets later. I know the waffle texture underneath gives added grip for the boards, but it really is a pain to get wet mud out of there.

Works in sand; holds up under weight.
Used these a few times to self-recover in soft sand dunes and to double-stack as short bridge to cover a gap and bypass a steep v-notch. With my 7,000lbs vehicle, they are only showing light wear so far. Grippy, durable, and confidence-boosting.

3.0-stars -- Acceptable product; no complaints
BACKGROUND: I own a Jeep. I go off-road. I have been known to occasionally get stuck. Having multiple options for self-recovery is a *good* thing since I'm too damn old and decrepit to cherish the idea of walking back to civilization just so that I can get a cell phone signal so that I can call someone and tell them I've screwed up. INITIAL OBSERVATIONS: They seem to have a good traction surface and are as sturdy as others that I've seen on other Jeeps. I have no idea whether they are as good as the original version made by the Australian company, but those are more than I'm willing to spend anyway. COMPLAINTS / ISSUES: It took a month for these to arrive. I have to wonder if that is because I selected a color (olive drab) that is not normally seen in the US and it had to come directly from China. IMPRESSIONS: They look very similar to other off-road traction boards that I've seen, other than minor tread pattern differences. CONCLUSION: For now, I'm going to give these a rating of "average" (i.e. 3.0-stars). Once I have a chance to use them a bit more, I'll revisit this review and post my revisions. So far though, they look promising. ORIGINAL AD DESCRIPTION: ALL-TOP Traction Boards with Build-in Jack Base, 2PCS Recovery Boards for Overlanding (4th Gen, Army Green) $85.99 STAR RATING SCALE: 1 -- Poor product; Waste of money at ANY price; Blatant lies in the original listing. 2 -- Below average product; Something about it is a bit lacking; It could be conflicted specifications or errors in the original listing or that it was arrived with damage that was unlikely to have occurred during shipping and should have been caught in either the manufacturer's or seller's quality control. 3 -- Average product; Meets expectations, perfectly serviceable, but does not do anything that sets it apart from similar products; Does not have some features that makes me say, "Wow, that's a neat feature". 4 -- Above average product; Something about it sets it a bit above similar products on the market. 5 -- Excellent product (or perhaps customer service); There is NO room for improvement whatsoever; NOTHING is perfect, so this rating *should* be EXTREMELY difficult to achieve. ǝuᴉʌ/ʇǝu.sɔ-ɥs.ʍʍʍ :ORDERED:2024-06-13 :RECEIVED:2024-07-11 :REVIEWED:2024-09-09 :KWD:jeep :KWD:offroad :AID:B0D1VGTKLL
