Great product were yo have high heat

I’ve used a few high-heat paints before, but Rust-Oleum’s 248903 is by far the best quality spray paint I’ve found for automotive parts. I used it on my exhaust manifold, and it handled the intense heat like a champ—no peeling, cracking, or fading even after weeks of heavy use.The finish is smooth and professional-looking, with a rich flat black that doesn’t look cheap or flaky. Application was easy, too—the spray came out evenly with no annoying drips or clumps, which can be a problem with lesser brands.What really impressed me is how durable the coating feels. This isn’t just paint; it’s like a tough ceramic shield that keeps my parts protected from heat, oil, and grime. It definitely gives me peace of mind knowing my engine components are covered by something that can really take the heat.If you want a high-heat paint that delivers on quality and longevity, this Rust-Oleum is worth every penny.

This paint worked well for my application. Here's some additional notes on what I found:Pros:- The paint applied very well, thoroughly, and easily. I really like that it has the sprays upside down feature to it. It made my job far easier.- I followed the directions and made sure to apply many thin coats versus one thick coat. This made the coverage very uniform.- My job was quite small (a muzzle break for my hunting rifle), but there seems to still be a ton of paint left in the can.Neutral:- Make sure you note that there's a curing process for this paint. 250 degrees for 30 minutes, cool for 30 mins, 400 degrees for 30 minutes, cool for 30 minutes, 600 degrees for 30 minutes, and finally cool for 30 minutes. Alternatively, there are directions for curing parts that can't be removed form your car/bike.Cons:- I didn't see, prior to purchase, any mention of the heating and cooling cycle to cure the paint. The break I'm using can't easily be removed from the rifle, so I'm hoping that the paint will cure with some shooting time at the range. (This could have totally been an oversight on my part).Overall, I am happy with this paint. I have not had the opportunity to test its longevity in my application. Time will tell. Good product, works as it should.

This is a good quality paint. I painted my brake calibers for months now and it is still looking good.

Genuinely impressed with this stuff.Dries fast, presents a clean and professional Matte surface, very uniform.Coated the exterior of my Forge after minimal prep work with a wire-wheel (didn’t take a before picture, apologies). After about 5mins of drying time I cranked the forge to my maximum working temperature (~2700F at the core) and held for 30mins with high ventilation, expecting to burn off any fumes now instead of when I’m working.To my surprise no fumes burned off. There was one or two spots that got a bit too hot (to be expected when cranking a double burner forge without end-caps) but the paint just slightly shined up and appears wet (but isn’t), no burning, discoloration or bubbling.Highly impressed with this stuff. 10/10.
