Replace your multi-turn hose valves with this
My house came equipped with standard multi-turn hose faucets. I have started replacing them with 1/4 turn ball valves such as this, as these are much more reliable and convenient. This particular valve has performed as expected with no failures. I would prefer a few more threads on the output side, but it is still perfectly functional.

A very good spigot. Easy to install, easy to turn off & on. I love the ease of the quarter-turn knob. It's great if you have arthritis and don't want to wear out your wrist and hands. I'll buy one for each of my outdoor faucets when finances allow.

Nice valve.
These are great. Water flows as one turns the handle counterclockwise and it stops flowing when one turns the handle clockwise. These are great replacements for my old leaky faucets.

The perfect valve
I looked for a valve that was for a garden hose, as well as fitting a 3/4 inch male pipe threaded pipe. It also had to turn on and off smoothly, with a wide knob that would be easy on the hands. This one is perfect.
