After much deliberation and comparison of different steamers I decided to go for this one. Due to many unfavorable reviews I wasn't expecting much with the quality, however I have been so pleasantly surprised. Build quality is good, and does exactly what it is supposed to do and does it well. It is not the biggest of steamers but I find it a perfect size for a small family. It washes well in the dishwasher. I bought this steamer in April 2022 and have been using regularly since I had it, with little wear evident on product. Very pleased and I think it is a very reasonable priced item - a great buy!

Bought at the start of our healthy eating regime. Vegetables have so much more flavour being cooked this way. Has helped my 4 stone weight loss. Still as good as new after daily use for over 6 months

Nice quality steamer set. My last one lasted 30+ years..used regularly. This item arrived nice and quickly, and I prefer the plain solid metal lid. All the glass lids I’ve seen have A vent hole, and there are preferences for either. The value of the glass lid appears to be so that you can see how well the food is cooked.. to me.. steamed veg doesn’t look much different to raw veg.,and it’s not until you take either lid off to stab the veg..you’ll know if it’s cooked to your liking anyway.. so the lid with no hole for me, cooks faster and you can reduce the heat more so it save money as well as produce healthier food. It all washes up well by hand or in the dishwasher..so it’s nice and robust. If it lasts half as long as my last steamer, I’ll be happy with the price I paid. Highly recommended.

Having read a number of reviews oo non electric steamers I noticed with interest the comments regarding plastic handles melting on a number of products. Taking those reviews into account I chose this set with metal handles and several months later I can say I have had no hot handles, seen no discolouration and have had good steam retention. Very happy with this.

These were purchased as an upgrade from my old steamer of over 15 years the black handles failed.So purchased this solid handle version.And this steam is fantastic quality product which I can see will last another 15 years plus easily.Also the finish is stunning.Size is perfect for Sunday roast for veg enough for 4.Highly recommended 👌

This 3 Tier Stainless Steel Food Steamer Pan Set looked the part but was light and flimsy. When I used it, the base bubbled and made a loud popping noise. I contacted the company who did reply but not to offer a refund so I received my money back with a return through amazon. I have learnt not to buy cookware from amazon because the quality for the price I paid was not there. I now have a new food steamer I bought from Denby for £60. It's sturdy, fits perfectly together with no leaks and cooks food beautifully. I can't fault amazon as they fully refunded me but I was disappointed by the response from Penguin home who did not offer a refund but instead suggested swapping the tiers for a better fit which was not what I was complaining about. Note to self - Don't buy cooking items from amazon!
