Perfect, worth the extra effort to install it correctly
This is great stuff. It provides absolute privacy from sunrise to sunset and into the evening. The mirror effect is on whichever side is brighter, so at night you still need a window shade or blinds on the inside. It's fiddly to get installed perfectly but there are very clear instructions with illustrations included with the film. Pay special attention to the part about 'you can't use too much spray', it's correct. You mix a diluted soap & water solution to spray all over the glass AND the film and put it on wet. It will slide around easily for centring and trimming with a razor if you use plenty of spray. The most difficult bit was getting the backing peeled off. I used two pieces of tape stuck facing each other on a corner, front and back of the film. When I peeled the tape apart I was able to get the backing separated from the film. I just wasn't able to catch the edge of the backing to start peeling it off otherwise.I'm ordering more and I even installed it on rippled privacy glass, even though this isn't recommended. It looks fine. I used a credit card to press it down tight on the ripples and it came out perfect.

It is good. I put it up in my utility room ...
It is good. I put it up in my utility room on the doors and Windows. Did the door first with some trepidation. Definitely a two man job. Got the Mrs to help me and we never ended up getting a divorce! Follow the instructions provided and you won't go far wrong. Hardest bit was peeling the backing film off. Also use 2 bits of duct tape to position it at the top while you start smoothing it out.

Privacy with limited light loss
Some people are concerned with the partial light loss experienced using this film. However, it really is partial - I would say 5 to 7%. I live in a street where the rest of the houses have shutters/blinds on windows that face the main road, so they are losing almost all light when closed, or have the alternative option of every person that walks by being able to see straight into their house. I instead have approx 95% light all day as don't need to worry about privacy. If you are in an area that is plagued by door to door salesman, these are great as you can see who is outside without opening the door.I have found this film to be superb. During daylight hours - if someone stands and stares close up at the window, they cannot see anything at all through it from the outside. It looks surprisingly smart from the outside and from the inside I have experienced no bubbling or sign of deterioration. Very quick & easy to fit. Obviously it does not work anything like as effectively at night when lights are on inside the house.

Not quite as described
Ordered 3 rolls, two tricky to fit, need second person to help, third could not peal backing. Customer service not wonderful, did not offer replacement, so opened claim, then they offered replacement which they later repealed. Now I have it on my conservatory windows I am disappointed, from the outside looking in I can see everything inside in the daylight, does help reduce sunlight coming through window but not as I had hoped, Would not buy again

3 year shelf life - not good for privacy
This was great when I bought it. 3 years later I've noticed you can see in to the room in broad daylight and bright conditions. Didn't realise there was a shelf life to this. Had it on the bedroom window that faces the street, so definitely not good. Going with a frosted film next, works much better for privacy - and doesn't have a shelf life!

Very difficult to install and no instructions
I thought this film would be useful to help keep my conservatory cool during the summer months. However, what arrived wasn't the quality I expected and I gave up trying to install it in the end, so was wasted money for me.I ordered 3 rolls which arrived in cardboard packaging with no instructions. The film is unbranded, creases very easily and has an extremely thin backing layer which is very difficult to peel off. This product seems to be almost impossible to install properly without leaving large air bubbles. After 3 or 4 goes I gave up.I would suggest spending a bit more for better quality film instead of this.

Excellent product
Prompt service. I Inserted an old set of patio doors in a large shed to minimise the shed's impact in the garden & for light. This product was great for 2 reasons: a) to prevent clear visiblility of the shed's contents and b) it provides a mirror effect which relects the garden making it look much larger. It's quite easy to apply providing generous amounts of soapy water are used. I urge you to read the instructions as they have some great tips for ease of application. Coating both patio doors took less than an hour.

Great product
Received in good time and came in a strong tube so was well protected. The trick to peeling the front off the backing is by rubbing a corner until the two come apart. Make sure the window is clean then spray on the soapy water. Peel the front off and place on the window. Using a wallpaper brush, brush evenly until the soap bubbles are evened out. I put this up by myself on windows 2 x 2 meters. I used this on our windows that face the road. It really does reflect like a mirror and offer privacy. Because the screen is slightly tinted it does mute the light in the room, but not by much. So long as the light outside is brighter than inside you cannot see inside. I definately recommend this.
