I did a lot of research on these things trying to find one that didn’t suffer from fatal flaws or poor construction. I actually bought another brand and I liked it a lot, EXCEPT it doesn’t have an inner flap/cover. That inner cover keeps tools from potentially falling out, so is a must have for a tool roll with multiple open pockets. This tool roll has that inner cover, different sized tool pockets and a very nice zippered compartment. The zipper and stitching is quite good throughout, the buckles and straps that secure it look like they’ll hold up unless you run the thing over or drop it off a cliff. The material is thick, good quality unwaxed canvas. I would prefer a waxed canvas for dirt and water repellence, as this black tool roll tends to pick up lint and fibers (I keep it in the trunk). But hey, it’s a tool roll… I’m not wearing it out for dinner. My only other nitpick is that it uses very strong Velcro to hold the inner flap closed. It’s really hard to get that Velcro open…hard enough that I worry that it might rip the Velcro pieces right off of their stitching. I could reinforce the stitching, but there’s no need for that much grip… The inner cover will probably do it’s job just fine even with no Velcro, as the whole thing rolls up. But I like it there for the security it provides. My solution was to cover about half of the Velcro with another piece of Velcro I had lying around. Now it’s easier to open because I’ve covered up some of the Velcro surface area. Works great. So, these nitpicks aside, the tool roll was great, holds everything I want it to hold, and looks like it will hold up well. For the price, this is really hard to beat.

I was looking at a specialized product made by a flashlight manufacturer made for hanging and displaying your lights and gear on your wall.. I didn't like the clear PVC pockets on that unit, so I decided to take a chance on this for about half the price. It is extremely well made and the variety of pocket sizes accommodate all sizes of lights. I like it so much that I just ordered another to hand directly below it. The flap folds behind it while it's hanging and can easily be closed over my collection to prevent dust and debris from getting into my stuff, and also would prevent items from banging together if I do decided to roll it up and take it somewhere. The construction is spot on. Extremely durable real canvas means that I'll be waxing these up soon. It was the only tool roll that I could find with all pockets oriented in the same direction and one of the few that actually has nice hang straps so that you can string it horizontally across your wall. I really REALLY like this thing. There are 20 pouches and one large zip pouch that I use to keep my monster light in. I plan on hanging the second directly below it as I have more lights to store and will more than likely be adding to my collection in the future. I'm thinking that buying a third may be a smart idea in case these become discontinued... Awesome product! The best tool roll I've ever seen or owned.

Great tool roll. Well built and feels very tough. If it holds up anything like their wrench roll, then it’s a great buy. Only thing I wish is that the top row was maybe an inch longer.

I purchased this to serve as home to my numerous bike repair and maintenance tools both at home and to throw in the truck for multi day trips so I have told beyond those I ride with. For example, pedal wrench, chain whip, come wrench set, etc. The zipper pocket is perfect for a chain breaker, extra patch kit and other small items. The size, quality and level of organization are great, particularly for the price.

Decent build quality with one minor (and somewhat negligible) flaw. The canvas material that makes up the bulk of the product seems untreated (waxed, waterproofed, etc) and collects lint and fibers like crazy, so if you expect to keep tools (or other unmentionables) clean, be prepared for that to be the case. Otherwise, the design is great. Its built with lots of varying sized slots, is very easy to roll and unroll, has a very roomy end pouch for bottles, packets, or bundles, and its straps can expand quite a bit to accommodate a full array of "tools". 4.5/5

This is a fantastic tool roll! This is built for those of us that seem to destroy everything nowadays. Once rolled there is zero chance of anything falling out and the zipper pouch on the end is applaudable. Thank you for making a tough item that will most likely last the rest of my Life 💪

Its just what I needed and expected.

I love thjis tool roll. I purchased a new roller bag and needed some cases and tool rolls to keep everything organized. I fly all over the country to install, train, and repair various automated devices. I don't have anything huge but I do have a variety of sizes and shapes. This roll is perfect for my needs. unlike most tool rolls that have opposing pockets, on this roll they are stacked. There's also a generously sized pocket at one side that holds a lot of miscellaneous tools. There's also a cover sewn on that is fastened with two long velcro strips. The cover helps to keep everything in place when you roll it up for storage. When I am working, I roll up the cover and fold it under so the roll is tilted upward. The straps are adjustable at the buckles to accomodate larger or smaller tool loads. For instance I loosened the straps so I can roll my digital caliper case into it.
