Reflective silver window film is a solar control film and a privacy film. As a solar control window film the reflective surface repels solar heat and glare by over 80% and also stops over 99% of harmful UV rays. It is these rays that cause your furniture to fade. As a privacy window film the film will provide a one way mirror effect allowing you to see out whilst giving a mirrored appearance looking into the properly. The film works by reflecting the brighter side so is great for external facing glazing where the sunlight is usually always brighter than the artificial light but doesn't always work correctly at night time or on internal partitioning. The side that you want to be able to see through to needs to be at least 4:1 brighter than the room you don't want people to be able to see into. All reflective films work in this way there is no film that does not work in this way. INSTALLATION: The film can be installed using a solution of 1 pint of water mixed with 1 teaspoon of Johnsons Baby Shapoo or washing up liquid, a sharp knife, glass scraper, squeegee and some lint free cloth. The film is self adhesive so no messy glue is needed and the adhesive is covered with a protective backing liner. The film is fitted internally and has a scratch resistant coating.
