Good for post exercise recovery
Easy to swallow and contains natural ingredients. I do a lot of physical exercise and because of my age I often suffer from aches and pains. These vitamains are supposed to strengthen muscles, jointsand bones so I'm hoping that taking them regularly will make my work outs easier.

An alternative to tablets and capsules
I use a different type of Vitamin K2 for 4/5 years now, those are a pressed tablet, so the option to try a softgel in a different form, MK-7, was of interest and it has been easy for me to swallow without any issues.I take most of my supplements in a morning with food and water, and the instructions on this particular Osavi product recommend it to be taken 1 a day with a meal, so i have continued to take the supplement in the morning with breakfast. The bottle and information reference MK-7 being the most active form of vitamin K2, so it is always worth looking into what differences the supplements contain to be able to compare one product to another that appear to be similar. That will certainly help with comparing costs as well.I have substituted some of my own supply as i say of a different K2 and these have not caused any issues, so i would be more than happy to run the full course which is 60 days, less what i have already taken.

MK-7 - the best form of Vitamin K2
This supplement comes in a typical plastic supplement container, and is easy to open, and not fiddly. The softgel capsules are a nice size, and are not hard to swallow, which is good as my wife struggles with larger capsules.I wasn't really aware of vitamin K2 until recently. I have taken vitamin D for years, but apparently adding vit k2 aids with vitamin d supplementation, although whether this is through absorption or bioavailability I am not sure. The recommended dose is one per day, which is easy enough. I just take it with my breakfast and then it is done and I don't end up forgetting. This is the MK-7 form of Vitamin K2 as opposed to the MK-5 variety. As I understand it the MK-7 has many benefits.I had read up on this when I started taking vitamin K2, and from my notes MK-7 (short for Menaquinone-7) has a longer chain made up of 7 isoprenoid units, as opposed to MK-5 which has a shorter chain with 5 isoprenoid units. In terms of bioavailability MK-7 is apparently better than MK-7 and lives longer in the body. MK-7 comes from fermented foods whereas MK-5 comes from animal products and some fermented foods. MK-7 is the preferred option for bone health and cardiovascular health.

Not for me unfortunately
These are 60 softgels, easy to swallow and quite small. They arrived well packaged and I have used this brand before for other supplements. I tested intending to use with my prescribed vitamin D, but unfortunately it's giving me an upset stomach and I later read that vitamin K is not for everyone and this can be a common side effect.Such a shame, because I would have really liked to integrate this important vitamin into my diet

Good Vit K2
I learned that to be effective, vit D should be taken together with vit K2.So I tried this one, that I really like, because it comes in sofgel capsules, that I personally adore. Many reviews say that this is expensive, but it's not. Vit K2 is not cheap, if you look around, you will see that also other brands are expensive. If you find cheap ones, it means that they are less than 100mcg.Very happy with these ones.

Vitamin K needed for vitamin D absorption. Bovine gelatine shells - not vegetarian.
I would have appreciated a breakdown of the ingredients in these capsules. All the Osavi supplements I have taken have similar unsatisfactory, uninformative information:"Energy value, Fat, Of which saturated fatty acids, Of which unsaturated fatty acids, Carbohydrates, Of which Sugars, Of which polyols, Of which starch, Fibre, Protein, Salt, Vitamin K (K2, menaquinone-7), MCT oil (medium chain triglycerides), shell (bovine gelatine, humectant: glycerol, water), menaquinone-7."Surely each of these categories should be followed by a number of grammes or maybe a percentage?Osavi, please take note, buyers who are prepared to pay the current price of £9.98 for 60 capsules want more than this. Some will want to know how much saturated fat they are ingesting. Myself, I am concerned as to how many un-necessary carbs I have to inflict on myself. I am pleased to see that I am getting some MCT oil, but how much? As it is listed near the end of the ingredients list, probably not much!As I am taking lots of supplements as well as prescription meds, I would prefer a formula combining vitamins D with K.To me, capsules like these are always preferable to tablets, being so much easier to swallow and tasteless.

Small softgels with a good dose of K2
A good brand of a quality supplement, these are softgels as opposed to the usual tablets for K2. An important supplement, especially when taking alongside VitD3.60 softgels at 1 a day with give you a supply for 3 months. Small well sealed tub, with a good expiry date and they were easy to swallow with no aftertaste.
