Q: how do i set the combination on this? There are no instructions.

Sorry for the inconvenience. To set new combination, turn the dial to default combination 0000 first. Then press and hold the pin on the right, meanwhile turn the dial to preferred new combination number. It also allows you to pick the lost combination. To do that, dial each number down with key inserted, number will stops at the current combination number, press and hold the pin to reset.

Q: How does the key work with the combination? Is it and or, or is it an override? No directions

The key is a master overide key, usually not for daily operation. With key open the lock, you can retrieve the combination by pressing down the pin on the right side meanwhile dial down the number dials. You get the password when the dials stop at positions.

Q: I have a 3/4 “ thick door and a 3/4” face frame on my cabinet front. Will this lock work for my application?

The shaft is not long enough for 3/4” + 3/4”
