Great quality and terrific value for money.
Second time buying this watch. The strap mysteriously broke (whilst in a suitcase and returning from a Caribbean holiday) on my first one ~ bought a replacement strap, and had it fitted, but the light was not functioning... so I bought a new watch and happily use them both. Great for use on the beach and whilst snorkelling and diving. Never a need to set the time when travelling the World. Brilliant product and value for money.

Didn't buy for the aesthetic as normally wear a mechanical watch, but great to have super accurate watch with easy switch dual time zones if travelling. Only gripe is the plastic straps these casios come with always prove brittle and break. Would be perfect if came with a durable rubber or fabric strap.

Horloge is voor dagelijks gebruik, had het type met kunststof band besteld omdat deze een stuk goedkoper is, maar kreeg toch het type met stalen band, dus dat was een kado. Satelliet indicatie licht niet op, maar ik weet niet of dit normaal is. Horloge functioneert verder prima.

The Casio WV58A-1AV has easily met and exceeded my expectations. I obtained my first manual WWVB sync during the daytime without issue and auto sync during the night seems to be working well. With a computer and cellphone that are perfectly locked to UTC, I want a watch that is, too. This one delivers, and without the hassle of manually adjusting it once per day. The watch itself is a bit thinner and less chunky than the previous Casio watches that I've owned. The screen has good contrast and is easy to read even when lighting is suboptimal. (I'm always a bit apprehensive about LCD contrast on electronic displays but I have no concerns here.) The backlight is uniform across the face and far superior to any other watch (Casio or Timex) with a backlight that I've owned. The manual that comes with the watch is very small and hard to read. The PDF version available from the Casio website is laid out on a conventional letter-size sheet and is much more convenient. The best part is the cost. I've rated the value for money as five stars.
