We have a fairly crowded outdoor patio area. We used to have one of those crank wheel type hose things. Neither my wife nor I would rewind it because it was a pain to wind back (also a pain to unwind), so we had this dirty thing spread out across the patio taking up space looking ugly that only got rewound when we were going to have guests. Enter hoselink... super easy to pull the hose out, equally easy to rewind it back. The attached nozzle didn't have as many options as my old one, but is super high quality, and has all the spray patterns I need and more. I picked hoselink partially because the hose has no lead in it (why we allow hoses with lead in them sold in this country to poison our surroundings I have no idea). My only issues were with installing it, and none of those issues were hoselink's fault. First I tried to attach it to the outside wall of my condo. It didn't work out for me; the only wall that it would work with has a metal shrowd on the inside of the wall for the fireplace. Next I had to learn how to put in a permanent post; it's not a big deal, but if you haven't done it before (and don't have the tools) it is a bit of an additional cost. Because I have an HOA I also had to match the paint fairly precisely to the colors used in the development as opposed to what was lying around that was good enough. Once the post was in, properly painted, installing the hoselink to the post was a breeze. I also got the optional cover... partially for protection, partially because after the fact I realized the black might garner unwanted attention from the HOA. I can't imagine having anything else other than a product like hoselink for watering. Hoselink, where have you been all my life?

This hose is a gamechanger. I always avoided using my hose because it was such a chore to rewind. Not anymore. It’s so easy to use and looks great. Note: you do need have a strong wall to attach the hose. Some people use a wooden pole as well

Easy to install. Well made. Works as expected. Hopefully will last. Have been using for a month or so. Nice that it can be removed and stored inside over winter.

This is the third hose reel I have purchased, all different brands. This one is clearly my favorite! It unreels smoothly, and reels back up easily. It goes back really quickly, so you have to walk a little slowly. You can easily push it to the side if its in the way and it actually stays there, first reel I've had that does that, all the others moved back. The nozzle it came with is really nice. Also it is nice looking. I really like this hose reel and it is worth the money to this avid gardener!

Hose reel was easy to mount on an existing post where I had a regular hose hanger installed. This hose reel is definitely an improvement. No more having to wrap the hose up anymore. It retracts the hose easily and makes watering much easier.

This is our second hoselink. There weren’t as many competitors when we bought our first hoselink (~4 years ago). So we bit the bullet even though it was pricey. Decided to get a second one and didn’t bother with the less expensive options just bc we trusted the quality. We lazily left our first reel out over winter last season. We thought it might have broken, but it was totally fine. So last spring we decided to get a second one for the other side of the house to avoid having to install a new hose bib. Best idea ever! Excellent functionality — super easy to pull out/retract and makes gardening and car washing so much easier. 11/10 recommend!

Absolutely love these. I buy them for all properties. It’s the best version of a self winding hose reel I’ve experienced.
