Not recommended
Information in the book is extremely basic. And some contebt was only a catalogue of products. Will not recommend this book if you are looking for a scientific information on strength training.

I feel like overall, the information given was pretty basic
Interesting read.As a certified nutritionist and fitness enthusiast, I am always interested to read and expand my knowledge.I feel like overall, the information given was pretty basic. It may help someone who is just starting out.If you have an advanced knowledge of diet/nutrition and how it relates to strength training -- you pretty much already know everything covered. The recipes may be great to look at.It honestly reminded me more of a blog, or a repetitive article in a magazine.Really, there is no such thing as the perfect diet.I agree with the advice of focusing on food quality, not restricting yourself or following a fad diet.I feel like the end "tip section" was kind of contradictory. The section that lists supplements covers the basic foundations of health, but then the last section goes on to recommend other supplements. While I am generally an advocate for supplements, I feel like they could have been listed in section on their own and more information be given as to why they are beneficial.I also feel like some of the other tips fall into the area of "Bro Science"There are some recipes and sample meal plans, which I know help a lot of people out when they are changing routines or starting on a new journey.I was able to review this book for free in exchange for my honest opinions.

Great information in this book!!!
I am a group fitness trainer and books with the subject that Strength training diet and nutrition cover always interest me. I really liked how this book talked about feeding your body and encouraged to eat not starve yourself. It talks about about how different foods work in your body differently and helps you figure out what type of foods you need to eat based of your personal goals. I like how it talks about not only needing to eat protein to build muscles that you need CARBS!!!! ( so many diets scare people from eating carbs) and Fat and gives scientific facts of why your body needs the commonly feared food items to function correctly and build muscles. It speaks about the importance of hydration and also discourages people away from fad diets. It also encourages you to set realistic goals. It covers healthy supplements as well. It also gives you samples of what a healthy diet plan may look like which is very helpful. A sample of Breakfast Lunch Dinner pre and post workout meals are given and gives guidelines on when to eat and not to eat. My favorite part are all the awesome recipes that are in this book!!! The book concludes with tips a few more tips. All and all a great educational read!!! Deserves all five stars.I received the kindle addition of this book at a discount for a fair, honest, and unbiased review. Thank you!!!!
