Personally, I'm not in love with kids playing with guns, but I LOVE this set with 3 different ways to shoot water to put out fires! What a wonderful set to let boys shot at being the hero and saving lives! LOVE IT! (Will say, that we added a water shooter from another set, and Lego might consider adding even more--go overboard. No kid said "gosh--too many ways to project a lego" and I wish they'd send a lot extra of the different things you shoot out.)

The media could not be loaded. My husband was determined to find this item at a better price than seen in the Charlotte NC airport. This item was coveted by our 5 year old son who cries over anything complicated and begs for one of his parents to do things for him. I understand my husband not wanting to spend triple the amount on something he figured he’d have to build that our son would never be interested in after it was constructed.The box came in with no damage. There were 5 packages with legos and a very detailed guide on how to build the plane. My husband forced our 5 year old to sit and do this without the TV on in the background and after maybe a total of 4 hours, our 5 year old has miraculously constructed a beautiful LEGO plane. (I’m still shocked)The age is recommended for 6+. I would say based on my child who I “might” say is temperamentally around the 3+ range for LEGO difficultly, and that this was a fluke and the 6+ is right on as per usual for LEGO. The plane has small pieces that are meant to be shot out from or dropped from the plane so be aware of that.I won’t lie- I helped as construction project manager, I had to take off some of the prices and have my kid do it again, and by the end the last few pieces meant nothing and all that was needed were the wings and my child would have been content!Extra pieces were left, but the plane still works and looks like it should!

The LEGO City Fire Rescue Plane was an amazing gift for my nephew—he absolutely loved building and playing with it! The details are fun, and it kept him entertained for hours. A perfect choice for young LEGO fans!
