We loved this... Really good. Expensive for everyday but a purchase we hope to make more often.

Quite a nice mix of rice and full of flavour when seasoned

I REALLY like this rice, although my wife hates it, she finds it tough and chewy, which is precisely why I like it, it’s great with curries and chillie and adds great texture. However, it’s hideously expensive and I’m trying to find a cheaper alternative.

I read many reviews on here before buying it, but I actually think Biona got this right with their rice blend. I eat alot of rice but this is a new discovery in terms of taste. I like the "al dente" feel and slightly crunchy texture. It's easy to cook in a rice cooker or pan.

I used to be an avid basmati rice consumer, but I've recently switched to a diet that has a lot less variety and additives for my gut health. This is more nutritionally complete - and I like the textures, the chewy-ness of the variety is really pleasant to eat. I think it's tastier than "normal" rice too, and (since I just switched to almost everything organic) I don't think you need as much. So I repurchased :)

Its a good brand but I wont be buying mixed rice again, why? Because the wild rice only takes 20 to 30 mins and the brown rice needs 45 mins by which time the wild had is split and spoiled. So ive ordered just a bag of wild black rice and will cook my rices separately then mix together. The idea of this os good but not the practice. I wanted wild rice for ite health benefits which are spoiled by overcooking.

I absolutely love this rice, easy to cook and looks great on the plate
