Excellent value plug and play card
Excellent value capture card. Works very well with OBS. Just add it as a video source, as an audio source, and enable audio monitoring and you're good to go. It's struggling with Mario Kart 8 for some reason but other games stream fine.

superb bit of kit
I bought this to replace a 4k unit that i was only using in 1080p anyway which has constantly disconnecting or unhappy with the refresh rate or resolution and was a total nightmare. This Ugreen unit has been the polar opposite. It just works. No lag on the pass through, shows up as a standard bideo capture device and audio input on both PC or Mac. No drivers or extra software required. I've done tens of hours of streaming and capture with this thing from a PC an Xbox and iPhone with HDMI converter and an iPad with HDMI converter. Everything just works. Never locks up like the other ones. It's brilliant value for money if you don't need 4k

PS5 Connection
Had trouble wondering why my display wasn’t coming up on my ps5 but need to head over to settings then system then hdmi then turn off HDCP would be good for the manual to explain this overall good tho.

Good for the price
Works a treat along with OBS. very little lag and great build quality for the price

Reasonable product, ideal for recording, not live streaming
Caused my stream to freeze several times during my streams, my community had to let me know in chat every time it happened, this caused lots of missed clip opportunities. Since changing to a branded competitor i have had no such issues. Stream quality on this device is very good, so ideal for recording content but not as good on live content streaming

This did not work
Unfortunately this UuGreen video capture card did not work. To their credit the Amazon returns process was excellent. I only had to return the item to my collection point, show the bar code to them and they did the rest. I didn't have to provide a box nor print a label.I have purchased Ugreen items before from Amazon that worked well, so this was a disappointment. This was the first video capture card I had ever bought so I wasted a day or two and lots of effort trying in vain to get it to work.The replacement I ordered (NOT Ugreen) worked straight away without any change either to the OBS software or my PC.

Great to transfer VHS tapes
Purchased this to transfer Old vhs tapes to my laptop.Using a separately purchased scart to HDMI I then connect the vhs player to the ugreen capture card and use OBS software to capture the video. It works well but would require some tweaking. Would say easy to set up and would recommend.

It just works!
This has to be the least amount of fuss I've had with a capture card. Setup is super easy, footage looks great however will heavily depend on the quality of your HDMi lead. Brilliant value for money and it's a pretty sleek looking device too.100% can easily recommend.
