We need individuals with a solid background in the sciences, who have had inexplicable spiritual experiences, such as Dr. Busby, to bring their scientific resources and methods into the fray and make the naysayers take a step back and respect the new data. Only then can we move past the knee-jerk reactions of scientism which dismisses all of the curious and unresolved questions at the intersection of the body-mind debate.We owe it to ourselves and to those seeking better answers for health and well-being to read books like this and champion those brave enough to write them. Happily, Dr. Busby is a marvelous writer and storyteller, and this short, engaging book will be of great benefit to practitioners in many disciplines.

This book is a great read and absolutely solidifies everything I've read on the subject. I love the medical and theological perspectives that he provides, as well as the historical background on energy healing and spiritism.
