The Magical Secret Garden (Flower Fairies) Novelty Book – Lift the flap, 2 Sept. 2010

I bought this for my boys to keep their imagination and wonder alive. It arrived on time and each page is beautiful. They are 6 & 9yrs old, yet still enjoyed it, for a moment of magic! I had left them flower fairy postcards from the tooth fairy. They finally asked it it was actually me. They seemed certain and resolute. I said "someone who really loves you left the card" , they immediately said "it was you!". They felt equally happy to know it was me. But they said they still liked to believe in fairies. So I got them this book, so we could keep the magic alive and enjoy their world of imagination. Imagining things you cannot see, believing in goodness and make believe are all healthy for the brain of a young child. It helps their intuition and creativity to grow, so they will grow up to be creative, positive problem solvers as adults. A great book to share the magic of nature and imagination.

What a beautiful book this is. We are giving it to our grand daughter for Christmas and hope she likes it as much as we do! Wonderful pop up features, rich colours, very high quality.

It is not as some of the other Flower Fairy books are, in that the pop ups are not as numerous or as delicate; but nevertheless it is a most de lightful book and I know the 6 year old girl is absolutely thrilled with it.. Likewise the book of cut out figures and their various costumes which is utterly adorable and the colouring book; remind me of my childhood long ago!!
