Pen Mightier Than Anxiety
I purchased this for my son, who struggles with reading due to dyslexia, and it’s made a huge difference. The pen reads text aloud and highlights it on the screen, allowing him to follow along without feeling overwhelmed. It’s intuitive enough for kids to use independently, and portable enough to bring to school. The translation feature has been a bonus—especially since it works with functionality over 100 languages. We’ve used it for both printed books and homework handouts, and the text-to-speech is impressively accurate. It doesn’t need to be paired with a phone or computer, which keeps distractions to a minimum. Occasionally, figuring out the correct source language for translation takes a couple of tries, but once it's set, it's smooth sailing. The audio playback is clear when using earbuds, making it great for travel or quiet study areas. For students, ESL learners, or anyone with reading challenges, it’s an empowering tool. I never thought a pen could boost confidence this much, but it really has. It has lightning-fast text scanning speed.

Interesting text scanning tool made for translating with bluetooth connectivity
The build quality of the text scanner is very nice. So far, I've tried printed text scanning from French and Spanish to English and it works well. It's definitely accurate on the translation if the text is scanned correctly. The bluetooth/wifi connectivity is also an added bonus. I am excited to try on old handwritten letters from family!

Great product!
Love this thing. Purchased it to help me with my French course in college and it’s been working great. I like how easy it is to use on the go. It’s very accurate when I use it. It’s a solid price for these things too. I had one before that was a more expensive and it wasn't nearly as good as this one in terms of accuracy. Would highly recommend for anyone considering.

Works well for pre-programmed languages but has limitations.
The scanner works pretty well as a translator for printed materials IF it is translating into a language that's embedded in the unit. It also has the ability to translate languages that aren't embedded (theoretically) when connected via bluetooth to an internet connection. I say "theoretically" because although I was able to pair and connect the translator to my internet connection, each time I tried to use the translator in that way I got a "time out" message so I've never been able to use it to translate any of the online only languages. My only other issue with it is that you have to know what language is being used for it to be able to translate. For example, I received some goods that came with instructions written in an unknown language but I could not use the translator because I couldn't discern the native language of the words. I tried several different alternatives that I thought could be the language but it resulted in gibberish. When you know the language you're attempting to translate and it happens to be a language that is embedded in the unit, it works extremely well. Otherwise, it definitely has limitations.

Superb
This tool is perfect for English as a Second Language students, and/or bilingual students.Great features.Our son has gained so much independence, confidence and speed in learning and improving his English. This device has made a huge and immediate difference in his progress.Easy to scan books and texts, translation is immediate, saves time and has really made learning fun. He loves the text to speech feature for when he needs extra help. Totally simple to use, portable and fast. This tool was not only good for him as an English learner, but also been great for our older children whom are learning additional new languages in School.Highly recommend for all new language learners of any age.

Don’t like how it works
Bought to help with dyslexia. I thought this read out loud as you scanned each word, but it scans a line at a time and then reads out loud. My 10 year old used for a week at school and decided it was to hard to use.
