Purple Turtle Leech Socks (one pair)

Bought these recently for a trip into Bornean rainforest. Found them very good. The elasticated draw cords at the top and lower down the leg mean that they stay in place well. The black vertical strips in the photo are a series of loops that allow you to place the lower draw cord at different levels, allowing a better fit according to leg length. My partner had a different set, which tied with normal laces, which meant they needed readjusting occasionally to tighten them up again. Felt I had the better set in the end.

Indispensable if walking in a leech infested area .They do need frequent tightening but I believe are better than the below knee .They certainly worked admirably ( Sri Lanka Knuckles)

Leech socks that worked!! Should do one for the whole body :) Brilliant for Mangroves and leech waters.

Easy to use, sturdy material & effective in keeping leeches away in the jungles of Borneo

Good, worked as expected although it proved hard to keep the top strings tight enough to stop them falling down a bit, but not really a big problem.

Easy to put on and comfortable to wear, these worked as advertised in preventing leeches from attaching.

Look to be a great item but unfortunately I won't be wearing them til next year as my trip to Borneo in April has been cancelled in view of Covid 19!

Bought these for a trekking trip in Northern India and they worked wonders. Leeches could not get through the mesh and they made me feel extremely safe and comfortable.
