First Response Early Result Pregancy Test, 2 Count

I could not believe this. I've used FRERs all the time ; my go to choice and will always recommend, but this is the first time I've ever seen a manufacturing defect. The lines are, well not exactly crooked, but definitely not centered. In this 3 pack, 2 tests were not centered and 1 was "normal." I've bought this exact 3 Pack before and never saw this. I've used FRERs a lot honestly and never seen this before - nobody I know has ever seen this before - heck, I can't even find anything on Google lol. Sending baby dust to those TTC

First Response has a habit of rotating promotions.(normally one then the other then none) The main two are buy one get one free mail(mail in rebate) and getting one extra test per box. The main problem of ordering from Amazon, one is never sure which type of box will arrive. It may even be possible that different warehouses have different stock at the same time, making it difficult to gauge by review which version you might receive. I had hoped for the extra test per box(as in the two previous reviews received said versions), but ended up with the mail in rebate offer instead. Personally I would like to see larger bulk packs offered. Hopefully lowering the per unit cost dramatically. Yes you can find generic tests(wondfo for example) but it is nice to have secondary testing options to help relieve stress for those trying to conceive. One of the negatives of buying pregnancy tests(especially generics) is you never know when you might accidentally pick up a bad batch. Therefore it is normally wise to have tests from at least two sources. Wondfo test Pro Affordable at less than 40 cents per test Known to normally be highly sensitive. Sold in various large bulk counts Con Not a "cupless design"(basically some might prefer to use it with a cup, but works ok for most without) For various reasons some batches might be bad. Wish they were stocked by larger vendors(why offer 40 cent tests when you can sell 4 dollar+ tests) First Response Early Result Pro Easy to find, available everywhere. Seems overall to be highly thought of compared to other mainstream brands. "Cupless design" making it easier to use for some. Tests seems very consistent. Con Expensive Not sold in large enough bulk packs For many the test seems less sensitive than it should be(Difficult to decide on which side to error here) Likely bad for the environment compared to generic tests. Not knowing which promotion box you will receive.(when mail ordering)

Hi, I got my first true positive result this AM, a faint line after 3 minutes. I already had a blood test scheduled later this AM since I am doing IVF and HCG was 21. I also did a 1$ cheapo test and the line looked like an evap line, not convincing at all. The FRER was very convincing. Incidentally, I also got a faint positive yesterday, but it took 10 min to develop and I know you are not supposed to read a test after that time. But in the past, I never got a line, even when I waited a little longer, so I was pretty optimistic for today anyways. So, this is really an excellent early result test. I am 14 dpo today which seems late, but again my HCG being low at 21, I am probably a later implanter and 21 is good sensitivity; early tests usually advertise they can detect at 20-25. I found the test easy to use.

Just a warning to other buyers…. I bought the 3 count and there were only 2 in the box when I opened it up after arrival. Not very happy about that AT ALL.

Positive a week before period

Please do not buy these. 3 tests from different packets all showed positive, all read within the timeframe, but blood test confirmed negative - no pregnancy. This really isn't good enough.

Tests expired 5 months before I received them. Completely useless and extremely disappointing. Make sure you check the expiry date on the box. Buyer beware.
