Comforting to cuddle and lean on, on a long journey
Designed to support the body and head, this unusual travel pillow could prove to be very useful on long, plane, car, rail, and particularly, coach journeys where you can’t get up to move around and stretch your back and neck. Coming in a handy, lightweight, nylon travel bag which is 8” tall with a circular base (diameterf 4”), it won’t take take up too much space in your hand luggage. The bag has a drawstring closure, with a spring toggle, and the brand name is printed on one side of it, in green. Unfortunately the inside seams are not overlocked, so it could fray in time. The whole thing (pillow and bag) weighs 12.3ozs/350g.The pillow was ‘roughly’ folded in the bag upon arrival, making it quite crumpled and tight to pull out as a result. I wondered how on earth I would get it back in the bag after blowing it up and using it. It is made from flocked vinyl and, once fully blown up, the crumples soon smoothed out. There is one air valve, of a type I’ve never seen before, but it seems very strong, and I like it. I blew the pillow up by mouth quite easily, and quickly, and deflated it by pushing the sprung button in the middle of the valve. Once blown up this is a large bulky item so, if using it on public transport, you will need to allow time to deflate it, and fold it back up, before disembarking. Getting all the air out in order to fit it back in the bag might take practice.. I did it by rolling the pillow up lengthways from each side in turn as I pushed the button in, in effect, folding it as I deflated it. By the time I had finished it was folded up much smaller and neater than it had been upon arrival, and there was even space around it in the bag.I have photographed the pillow, fully inflated, from various angles in an attempt to show all its shapings/contours, inside and out. In use, I found it comforting to cuddle, and it was more comfortable sitting on my lap NOT fully inflated. Being able to lean forward with my face in the hole (with air holes/armholes on the sides meant I had options (regarding position) and I didn’t get a crick in my neck like I do head tilted slightly to one side on a standard neck pillow. It comes with ‘instructions’ for use in purely diagram form on a small piece of coloured paper, but no instructions are needed as each user will discover what suits them best, with use.

Slightly disappointing but still somewhat effective
I had high hopes for this travel pillow but was a bit let down. It smells quite chemical and the smell did not go away after airing it out and several uses. As for its effectiveness, maybe I am weird, but I did not find it all that comfortable. It’s more comfortable than the usual neck travel pillows, that is for sure. However, it still did its job somewhat and I was able to sleep using it, on a train, plane and coach.

- 1 x Travel Pillow The product feels and looks great. it compresses down to so it would easily ...
Amazon yet again have delivered, I received these on the same day as I ordered, delivery was by prime and as always very efficient. To the product:-Reason for purchase - My old travel pillow has developed a hole in it and a new one was needed. The product comes in a Celophane bag, its hassle free packaging so no need for scissors. It contains:-1 x Travel PillowThe product feels and looks great. it compresses down to so it would easily fit in a hand bag. Once inflated it quite strange and looks like a stab proof vest. One major benifit of this product it sthat it allows you to slouch forwards instead of a normal neck pillow. The product supports ouyour weight and if you face into it, it means you dont need to wear a blindfold as less light can enter the 'pillow'The pillow is soft to the touch dispite being strong. All in all a great product.*If you have any questions, then click my profile and drop me a message and I will be happy to help you. Actually quite effective, inflates quickly, worth a go...
Looks rather strange, but does actually work well. It inflated in about 10 breathes (and the valve is a rigid easy to use one, looked a bit odd to me at first but sealing my mouth around it was actually easy in the end).It does smell of new plastic at first, but this went after about 20 minutes. Not something to take straight out of the original packaging when travelling, the smell might make some people travel sick! But air it beforehand, and perhaps some Febreze and it is actually fine. The thing I don't like about inflatable pillows is how hot they can feel to use, the trapped air inside is a good insulator, and of course there's no where for the seat to go. But so long as it's not too hot in the car/coach this actually works.(I do feel a little embarrassed to use it at first, it does look weird!)Fits my 5ft10" (179cm) body well.

Perfect for travelling
Excellent travel pillow, which will be just what we need for use on the plane for our upcoming holiday.Only takes seconds to inflate, and deflates just as quickly so is perfect for travelling. It fits in a very handy travel sized drawstring bag.

Disappointing
I struggle to sleep on airplanes. Oh how I envy those people who can doze off on a 10 hour flight whilst I struggle to get comfy! I bought this hoping for a miracle cure but alas, I found it little or no help. It's "modern" shape is certainly curious, and it does offer a little more support than those tiny little pillows airlines give you, and with a bit of creative problem solving you might be able to manoeuvre it into position in order to get comfy, but if you're expecting a "Eureka!" moment then you're going to be disappointed.
