I’m not a joiner by any stretch of the imagination so I’m probably not using this thing to its full potential however I’m finding myself reaching for it far more often than expected so very happy with it.

I’m not sure how anyone could give this square anything other than 5*. Admittedly it’s a simple tool but it’s well designed and machined. It does exactly what it should and, looked after properly and used careful, will last for ages. It’s as described too. I can definitely recommend it and would buy again, although I hope not to have too. 😊

I bought this to assemble new kitchen cabinets and make sure they were square. I found it very useful and sturdy. Recommended for this application.

This is an extremely precise and well made square.I checked this with 2 high end engineers squares and it is absolutely precise! It's the type of quality you get with Woodpeckers tools but a fraction of the cost. I purchased the small square and within the hour purchased this larger version - enough said!High end precise try square with a variety of awesome options and features.

The square is securely packed and well-protected inside, presenting an impressive appearance with its metallic orange finish. Upon unpacking, the noticeable weight instils a sense of durability. The aluminium metal gauge is substantial, and I believe this level of robustness ensures both longevity and accuracy. The high-quality finish, though the markings are surface-printed, should endure with proper care.🧰 I also liked the marking guides, which allow you to quickly mark off measurements in 5mm steps. There are some drill sizing holes included, although all my drill bits have their size marked, and I would not use these holes for a drilling template. The angular measure is very useful, though. The only real negatives are that it doesn’t have rafter angles or tangent conversions, which I would have liked to see for versatility. Also, there is no plumb notch at the pivot point for dropping a line to an angle.🧰 The measurements are in metric on both sides rather than imperial, which suits me perfectly. I am also impressed with the value, as I would have expected a higher price for a tool of such quality. I have no reservations about giving this a well-deserved 4-star rating. With some additional markings, it would have fared even better. ✔️

Product was delivered promptly. Good to have a set of metric squares and having the scribing notches makes life alot easier when marking and cutting, accurate too.

It does, however, have the added benefit of additional functions such as acting as a protractor for smaller angles less than 90 degrees, using the hash marks along the diagonal edge fo the tool, as well as having drill sizing holes if the marking on your drill bits have worn off.The square is very solid and manufactured from aluminium alloy, making it both tough and lightweight. It has an anodised finish to help protect it from corrosion and the markings are all very clear.One edge has a flat "base" to it, meaning that you can either place it against the inside of an angle, or overlap the base on the outside of a piece of wood, in both cases ensuring a perfect right angle.Overall a very good tool, just a little expensive for a square that has no adjustment feature.

I'm writing this as an enthusiastic DIY'er so a professional carpenter may have more criticism but for me this is a great bit of kit. I have a regular try square etc but this is my first 'carpenters square'.This to me is a sort of do it all square and makes it so much easier to measure angles and scribe lines parallel to edges etc as well as a gauge for drills.This is also my first introduction to 'Presch' tools ( I also ordered the try square) and I have to say I'm impressed so far, really good quality ( I expected this for the price) good legible markings and as far as I can tell accurate.Maybe not the cheapest around but you only need to buy once and this will last you a lifetime.Recommended.

Ottima costruzione, ben rifinite e robuste.Alluminio lavorato perfettamente senza sbavature e finitura sabbiata sulle superfici non funzionali.Anodizzato arancione e con righello e scritte incisi al laser.Ho controllato l'angolo, il requisito essenziale per una squadra, ed è risultato un 90° perfetto.Il controllo l'ho eseguito con un calibro rettificato DIN 875 in classe 1.Unica pecca, nonostante le superfici sabbiate, se si lavora controluce il riflesso disturba un po'.

Tienen una pinta tremenda de buena: además es que son súper bonitos de color (en la foto no se aprecia del todo el tono medio iridiscente que tienen en el realidad). Me han gustado mucho nada más sacarlos de la caja. Y están muy bien terminados.Voy a ser sincero: me animé a coger estos por el color (y son espectaculares). Miré varios modelos de otras marcas en Amazon y vi que algunos de ellos tenían el gramil (las marcas que sirven para trazar líneas paralelas) en pulgadas. Y este las tenía puestas dichas marcas del gramil en los centímetros y en los medios centímetros, así que por eso me decidí finalmente por este. O sea que está en sistema métrico (no en imperial).Ah, y porque la escuadra pequeña tiene unos orificios que marcan los diámetros y me servirán para poder comprobar de forma fácil qué agujeros necesito hacer o qué brocas estoy usando, etc.
