It's beautiful and sounds great Heads up for other beginners, this harmonica is harder to use when learning single notes. The holes are slightly narrower than the cheap beginners so just keep that in mind. I'm still new to the harmonica but I've tried a few cheap beginners and so far I really like the conjurer brand here on Amazon. It's less than $10. Just treat it nicely so you don't break it because the middle is not supported like this east top harmonica.

This is a superior harmonica and the price is right. I’m new to the instrument so I didn’t know where to start. I started with a cheap $20 one then progressed to a set of Fender Blues Deluxe which aren’t bad at around $28 each. But I needed a low F so tried this brand. Vastly superior to the previous ones I tried. This harmonica is pitch perfect and plays very easily. It doesn’t take much air to vibrate the very responsive reeds. Same with bending notes. Very easy. I’d like to have an entire set of these. Well worth a few extra bucks without breaking the bank.

So easy to play. Now I desire one in every key!

This is a really nice solid harmonica at a reasonable price. It competes favorably with the higher cost German harmonicas. I have purchased several in different keys and have had no problems. If you're a beginner (or even an advanced player) this is definitely worth checking out. When I purchased this harmonica it was more than $10 less than the German product. I would not hesitate to purchase again.

Sounds and plays well.

I bought this harmonica in the key of low F. It affordable, sounds good, and bends easily. But it's not without some problems. I've had this one since Dec 2025, which I feel is ample time to allow for breaking it in and accurately rating its performance. You really don't know if a harmonica is worth its salt until it's broken in. Now that it is, I'm satisfied with it. However, after about a week of playing it, the #2 and #3 draw reeds stuck. When that happens, you'll know it because a stuck reed will not blow at all. But with some continued warming, tapping, and playing I was able to get those reeds unstuck and broken in. However, 2-3 weeks in, the draw reed on hole 4 started cold-choking and blowing flat. What to do? I could've returned it, but I really like the sound and responsiveness of this harp. And since I know a little bit about correcting these issues, I opted for disassembling the harmonica, cleaning, and aligning the reed, which solved the problem. Fortunately, the Lightning is very easy to disassemble/reassemble. But at any price, the last thing you want to do is have to repair a brand new item. I still love this harp and play it almost every day. Maybe I was just unlucky and got one that QC didn't catch. Regardless, my experience with it was less than stellar, hence the 3 star rating. I probably won't buy another Lightning, although I'm open to giving East Top another chance to redeem themselves.

Volume alto, facile da fare tutti i bending e over bending. Le anche sono elettrosaldate quindi poco regolabili in trasversale e non hanno neanche un profilo netto. Meglio di tante altre armoniche per principianti ma non meglio di altre professionali poco più care.

In my opinion the Chinese have made huge strides in quality in recent years and these are a good example, at reasonable price these work well and have a bright tone. very good entry level instrument that would allow you to practice and perform to a reasonable standard.

Great harp for the price, still has some sharp edges that i dont like.
