Do not buy this product!
No I don't need it I have to wait three weeks for the product to arrive from China but when it arrived the mold is it was poorly made. The top of the mold is wider than the bottom causing the candle to look misshaped. Nothing can be done to correct this defect. I would encourage all potential buyers to avoid this product!

Pretty decent and cute design
This is a cute mold. I give it a 4 out of 5 star rating because I had to create a wick hole for my candles. Not a huge issue. I also gave it that rating because the resulting candle is slightly, very slightly lopsided. It goes from somewhat smaller at the bottom and then slightly gets bigger towards to the top. I'm not sure about it being a good soap mold, but itd be a good sized soap. It's only a few inches tall too, but it makes a cute candle mold for present ideas and for selling at markets. I DO recommend getting it because it's a good mold.

This may be suited better to make candles with no wick.
This item leaves a lot to be desired, even with release spray the candle doesn't come out looking right, it's hard to unmold, and leaves no place to pull the wick through. Others I've just put a hole in the top and pulled a wick thru but this one is cheeply made and leaks, with doing it that way

Split the sides?
It is a good small mold. Without splitting the sides with a sharp knife or razor blade, you will never remove it. They need to supply directions and tell you that.

looks bad
China proves to us once again that you get what you pay for. There is a weird shape to the candle: wider at the top than at the bottom. It's not so obvious that it jumps out, but it does look sort of "off."My main complaint is that when you painstakingly work the candle out of the mold, the very fine hexagon pattern is almost certain to get damaged. If you are using actual beeswax (I'm a beekeeper so that's what I have on hand) which is inherently soft and malleable, it just can't hold that sharp protruding detail. You pick up the candle, and the outline of your fingers gets left on the hex pattern. Maybe for a harder wax or for plaster it would be okay. You do have to poke your own hole for a wick, and I didn't try cutting the mold in half with a sharp knife like the other reviewer suggested, but maybe that may help with removing it easier.

not so worth it.
cute, and it came out alright once we sliced it as everyone speaks of, but even after that it is ...chucky on one end. lopsided. No matter how many we made or whether it was cut first or not they came out like that, when others in different molds didn't
