This item is built solid and seems nicely designed, however the fault is in the construction ...
i have been using this item for about 2 months now, in that time I have used on several shapes, sizes and soap formulas. This item is built solid and seems nicely designed, however the fault is in the construction material of Acrylic, ever bar of soap drags on the surface and jumps, thus gauging the soap and much of the time leaving the bottom misshapen and ruining the bar. I will be going back to a wood shaver with a metal blade, even a vegetable peeler is more effective than this item.
