Nearly perfect
Right off the bat, I wanted to explain the one (minor) reason why I gave this flashlight holster four stars instead of five stars. The one quibble I have with this holster is that the engagement teeth on the back that work with the sliding release on the bottom to allow the holster to slide on and off of the belt are a fraction of a millimeter too long, making disengaging the belt clip extremely difficult. My solution to that was to rub an ordinary emery board across the two engagement teeth (on the holster part, not the clip) to take off a tiny bit of the plastic there to now allow the clip to still securely engage the teeth while also allowing it to release easily when taking it off of the belt.I used this holster for right at five years on a daily basis at work to carry my Surefire flashlight, only now replacing it because I made the mistake of rolling over onto it on a hard surface, knocking off the retainer slide on the bottom that engages the belt clip.Even so, that holster can still be used, because it still engages the retention teeth, but I went ahead and replaced it because I wanted a fully intact holster with the 100% positive belt clip retention.I actually went through five different types of hard plastic belt holsters before I finally bought this, and it is so good that it's the only one that I have used for more than a year. Here are the key features:1) There is a movable piece of plastic on the belt side with fixed positions to allow the holster to adapt to a variety of belt widths to limit movement.2) The holster is rotatable, with detents to allow the flashlight to stay on while in it, allowing the light to illuminate an area in front of yourself, and to do so while freeing up your hands, something that could be particularly useful while (an example) changing a flat tire on the side of the road.4) As mentioned above, the belt clip is hinged with a positive latch mechanism, making it easy to attach/detach from the belt.3) The single best feature is that the latch lever to allow the flashlight to instantly deploy is on top of the holster, behind the barrel of the flashlight while one is in it, protecting the lever from accidental disengagement. This last feature is a major improvement over the various other holsters I have had with the latch lever on the side, where I had problems with it constantly accidentally disengaging and dropping my flashlight. The latch on this holster is even easier to disengage, but I have never had it do that accidentally. For anyone curious about what size flashlights are suitable for this holster, I have carried both the Surefire P1R Peacekeeper and what I carry in it now is the Surefire Fury Intellibeam in it as if it had been made for them.I highly recommend this holster for people with flashlights approximately in that size category.

Don't buy this case
Don't buy this case; it can't be attached to the two different mounts for internal use. Therefore, it won't be usable. The plastic is very poor. The seller doesn't respond when contacted.

This is geared towards open carry.
Excellent outstanding holster.Good luck draping jacket, vest, or shirt over it though. It's a shirt tucked in, open air belt kinda holster. It bulges out - it's definitely designed for duty carry.

Good Investment
After losing my nitecore flashlight off of my duty belt with an other holster, I decided to try this one out. So far, it has held up to daily abuse of getting in and out of vehicles and hasn't flinched a bit. Worth the little bit of money, so get one!

Too big and cumbersome
This holder is just too big, cumbersome, and uncomfortable. This fits on a standard duty belt but its just impossible to wear if you have anything more than a couple pieces of gear. You absolutely can't put this anywhere behind your 3 or 9 o'clock on your waist because it will destroy your back when you sit down. I opted for just putting my Nightcore P23i in my pocket.
