Easy to use
I bought this label maker to organize my garage tools and hardware bins. I’m a private individual, and get nothing for this review, btw. I have printed about 70 labels so far and the machine has worked perfectly. Still using my first set of 6 AA batteries too, with no sign of them dying yet. I ordered a pack of extra label rolls in assorted colors from an aftermarket vendor and they have worked great. I went with 3/4” width and the machine comes with one roll of 1/2” wide label tape that I haven’t used yet. The adhesive is pretty strong and seems to stick well to most surfaces. I’ve been tagging hard plastic and painted metal surfaces mainly. Initially at least, I’ve found that you can remove a label if you goof up; they peel off cleanly. This might be different on paper. This machine by Epson seems well built and the keypad has a quality feel. Keep in mind that you’re not buying a computer laptop here, but it’s a pretty nice little machine for the price. I like that it has a preview feature that scrolls an image of the label so you can proof it. And on it’s little screen it also tells you the length of the sticker ahead of time so you know if it will fit in the spot you want to label. You can choose two lines or rephrase the words if it’s gonna be too long. Lastly, the rolls of label tape are very easy to swap in and out if you just take your time. I’ve switched several times between colors and the label cartridges just snap in place; no formatting, winding or feeding of the roll necessary.

The PERFECT Gift For Your Loved One With OCD!
My storage containers became so numerous, I HAD to start labeling them. This is a GREAT way of doing that. The machine isn't terribly big or hard to handle. It comes with a roll of white tape / black letters.Easy to learn how to use - BEST USER GUIDE is online. Settings make tape waste minimal. There are a LOT of options for tape colors / finishes available.*****REQUIRES 6 AA BATTERIES. Save the box this comes in - there's enough room to store the labelmaker AND batteries (remove them from the machine when not in use for longer life) as well as an extra roll of tape or two.Very pleased with this purchase - Good cost to value.

Quality Product
Works as expected. Quality product. User interface is not that intuitive, but doable. Instructions are lousy. They need to write a 1-page "How To" and it would be much better. Battery life seems to be good, ink and labels are good. Labels are easy to peel as they have a lengthwise split making it easy to remove the attached paper.

Easy to use, perfect for an organizer!
I love it! It’s easy to use and you have so many options of fonts and size. I haven’t had a problem with it yet! It’s perfect for the OCD Organizer like myself! The fact that it’s battery operated doesn’t bother me electively when you use rechargeable batteries!!

Great for the price , but perfect but great for the price, happy overall
It's not perfect and I could nit pick it here and there but overall it's easy to use, prints pretty decent, decent speed, overall good purchase and would but again, great price, consumables are on the high side but not bad as long as you don't label literally everything around, yes it takes 6 batteries but turn it off after use and they should last awhile.

No instructions - but very good for the price
I'd give this 5 stars but there are no detailed instructions that explain all the settings and I've had a little trouble finding an online version. I think I did finally find it and haven't needed read it yet, but the description says a manual is included. Minus one star for that. As for the printer, 5 stars. Simple, cute, and unlike a well known competitor, there isn't one inch of wasted label tape on each end of the printed labels. Oh - and it has a lifetime warranty. Love that. Guess I'll up this back to 5 stars and forgive the instruction manual issue.

Would it hurt to include instructions?
Where the heck are the instructions? A multi-lingual machine that doesn’t include a user’s guide. Wake up Epson! Any possible compliment is withheld because I only received good results by accident. I’m not going going searching around on the web to figure it out. If you do not respond soon, the unit will be sitting on your doorstep.
