Q: How long does this last?

A little goes a long way. We put some of it in a smaller tupperware container and dip the blades into that instead of dipping into the original container.

Q: After using the product for your blades do you have to wipe it off before using it on a dog?

definitely yes......blades must be wiped off and dried

Q: Are you supposed to dip your clippers directly into the container?

No. I just take off the blade and let it soak for a while in the cleaner. You can dip the blade while it is still attached to the clippers, but don't get the cleaner on the clippers.

Q: Should I turn my clippers on while dipped?

Yes but only submerge the blade. Don't get it into your clippers.
