AndisBlade Care Plus Dip Jar, 16 oz

This stuff is great. You just dip your dog grooming shaver into it and run the shaver for a little bit, and the blades are clean. Easy to use and keeps your clippers in tippy top shape.

I cut my husband's hair and his clippers needed to be clean BADLY. My husband mentioned some type of blue cleaner that his barbers would use, which is something I remember when my mom would take my brother and I to the barber to get his hair cut. This stuff is SUPER greasy but works AMAZINGLY. Was able to get most of the hair out and the clippers ran smoothly again. I recommend this especially for wives who cuts their husband's hair like me

This got all of the built up hair and gunk out of my clippers in under a minute. Don’t use too much though. The smell is awful, but if you don’t stand near it too long you’ll be alright. Dump the leftover liquid in a garbage, not a sink. It’ll stick to the sink if not cleaned off. Good product 👍🏽

This is the 2nd time I've bought this. The 1st time, I'd have given the product 5 stars without reservation. This time out, I'd give it 3.5 stars, but would err on the side of a lower rating.The liquid itself is great, and works the same as the 1st time -- that is, it works as expected.However, Andis seem to have made a bad decision changing their plastic canister. It looks the same, is sized the same, but is definitely not the same. The product I received has a noticeably softer plastic body canister. So soft that it bends when being held to the point that it becomes near impossible to screw on the lid properly. I now practically have it semi-open as the lid is really just a pain to thread properly with the warping canister. The plastic on this one seems to be nowhere near as stiff as it needs to be. No such problems with my first experience with the product a couple of years back.Relating as well to the seemingly new material for packaging, the foil seal on the canister was also disappointment. It's one of those that was stuck with some adhesive that doesn't come off cleanly. In fact, the mouth of my canister is still lined with the foil that won't come off, much less come off cleanly. It was another annoyance that presented itself from the very start (upon opening, obviously).Good product, but Andis seem to have cut costs on the container.
