My Holy grail... but not for very oily skin
I've tried about 20 different brands of C serum, and this is my favorite. I find it to be very effective at brightening, I love the pump packaging for hygiene and oxidation purposes, and I also enjoy the texture. It's thicker than most others, a bit oily, extremely mild to non existent scent, and leaves my skin with a lovely glow. I have combination skin, more on the dry side. I do not think people with very oily skin would enjoy this, as it would be too much. But as someone who breaks out with even the most expensive "non comedogenic" face oils, this is so nice, because it doesn't break me out or irritate my skin at all.

Too greasy for me, but recommend for very dry skin
This is a nice product. It’s way too greasy for my skin, but if you have dry skin, I think you should try this. There is absolutely no possible way your skin could get dry with this stuff on. It goes on sticky but smooths out nicely over the skin. If your skin can soak it up that’s fine, but for normal or oily skin, it will turn into a greasy oil slick sitting on top of the face as the day goes on. It has a bit of odor, but not enough to be a problem. The pump packaging is nice.

Effective
I’ve been using this serum for about a month now and I can say my skin looks brighter. When I first applied it, there was a slight tingling feeling, but I don’t notice it anymore. A couple of pros:• Fragrance free and non-irritating• Able to see results after a month• Reasonable price pointLike other reviewers mentioned, it has a sticky consistency. That stickiness goes away for me after 10-15 mins. I prefer to apply it at night before bed. If I use it in the morning, I typically mix it with a carrier oil (rose hip oil) for a smoother, less sticky application, followed by an SPF.Another reviewer said it doesn’t have real vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid). From my research, there are two types of vitamin c: stable and unstable (L-ascorbic). Looks like this product uses the stable form.

Effectively smooths skin, but application and feel is problematic
I have mixed feelings about this one. I had high hopes for this product because I cannot tolerate water-based vitamin C serums - they are too irritating for my sensitive skin. I have been using this product for a month and ultimately decided that I will not repurchase it. First the good - it does seem to work effectively in creating a smoother texture on my face. So the vitamin C is actively working. I have not noticed dark spots lightening, but that should really take more time than 1 month, I think, so no opinion there. There is also none of that weird smell that is typical of water-based vitamin C - this is a strong selling point when you're applying it right to your face and have to smell the product for hours. No scent for this one!The bad - the dry oil feel of the product is disconcerting. It feels like it just sits on the surface of my face the whole day and is slightly tacky to the touch. The worst though, and this is something I should have considered beforehand because it's oil-based, is that I don't think I can confidently apply chemical sunscreen on top of it and believe that it will soak in past the oil of this product to work effectively to protect me from the sun. That is usually one of the selling points of a vitamin C serum - to layer it underneath your sunscreen for added antioxidant protection. I am really disappointed that I can't trust that my sunscreen will work with this on. That means that I have limited this product for at-home use only.Word of caution - I have played around with different ways of applying this product to see whether it will soak in better. I have found that by dotting this product on different areas of my DRY face and then mixing those dots with a water-based serum, area by area, it does soak in better slightly - it still feels like dry oil on the face, but more blended in. However, this method also activates the irritancy of the vitamin C even more than if you followed their directions of applying it on already damp skin. My skin got red patches from this method, so be careful in how you apply it. Maybe if you normally tolerate water-based vitamin C serums, this will not bother you, but if you are sensitive like me, just be aware.

Highly recommend
This was recommended by some k-beauty influencers that I follow. It's been really great for my combination skin. It exfoliates my pores and I've noticed my skin texture has improved. Sunspots have slightly faded too. My skin tolerated it well, it does come out thick but really nice for my night time routine.

Personally it's not for me
The effect is OK but I hate the warming effect I feel when applying it. This is totally a personal preference.
