What a fabulous purchase. It has enabled me to trim by shrubs etc without uses heavy shears. Sellers description is accurate, item well packaged definitely recommend.

Brilliant little tool. Inherited annoying little ball shaped euonymus shrubs when I bought my house. Which I was going to get rid of coz too time consuming & fiddly to maintain, but it’s a big garden & they help to fill borders. So bought this tool with short blade & it makes a horrendous task really easy & very quick! I haven’t used the longer blades for anything yet as small does the job I needed doing. My only gripe is that you have to push in the safety switch with one finger at the same time your pushing in the in button with another. I understand why it’s necessary to do so but it makes it a bit awkward to use. If it were not for that this tool would be 5*plus not 4 star. But do not let that comment put you off it’s a great tool.

I would be more inclined to call it a hedge shaper and best suited for a bit of topiary. Although I have not had any problems shaping up some olive trees, I am only going for the stray branches and nothing thicker than maybe 3-4mm diameter.As some have noted, the changing of blades is not always straight forward as the cam can be out of line. The instructions tell you how to reset it. Not sure it is ideal the way they suggest but it does work, just go very careful.This is only a low powered and relatively inexpensive item. Works for me for what I want it for.

A very handy tool comfortable to use weight good, loving the size

I have only use this on a small patch off grass so far to test it. Once my grass grows back I will give an honest full review.It comes assembled and doesn’t need much doing to it. It came fully charged and ready to use however you may want to charge it before using it.I like the safety feature of the button where you press the side button along with the power switch to get it trimming. It does a small while to get hang of it but it is easy to use. It trims right to the bottom of the grass without any hesitation. The blade cut side to side and does a good job. My only issue is I wish there was a container attached to collec the grass trimmings afterwards. If you think of shaving hair and you put the cut hair to one side, you have to do the same with this to make it easier to collect trimmings. Otherwise I think this is a good device to have as I got it for my elderly dad who can’t move a lawnmower anymore due to his health. He finds it easy to easy for now. I have no need of use for the hedge trimmer as we don’t have a hedge. I didn’t find it a bit hard to switch between the two blades.I will give an update on how long the charge lasts in a couple of weeks

Item was faulty as it would not charge. Was sent back on 23rd June. Despite multiple attempts Carrier has never been able to deliver it back to Domu.No refund received. Beware of this company.
