Pretty cool for modifying a kids ride-on car
I wanted my kids to have a proportional accelerator pedal on their ride on (power wheels style) car. This did the trick! Keep reading if you’re interested in trying something like this yourself.I was able to fit a small accelerator pedal to the right of the existing pedal in the ride on car. Note, with this set up, the car won’t stop on its own when the accelerator is released. With this particular car, and possibly with others, the drive wheels lock (brake) when the positive and negative motor wires are shorted. So I was able to use the existing (old) accelerator pedal as a means to short the motor cables thereby converting that pedal into the brakes. To make reverse work, I just bought a latching polarity reverse switch and ran the motor output from this module through that switch. I fitted that new switch in the place of the old existing reverse switch. This module also has a brake switch which I was also able to also wire to the brake pedal. When the brake switch on the module is activated (by connecting the wires), it cuts power to the accelerator which I thought would be important for safety. It’s also good to have in case the kids try hitting the accelerator and brake at the same time. (Not good when the wires are shorted) For the brake pedal ( which used to be the old on/off accelerator pedal) I swapped the existing momentary switch with a similar one that had two isolated circuits built into the switch (6 pins on the back side). That way when the kids hit the brake pedal it can short the motors and the modules brake switch in two isolated circuits. The power from the motors won’t mix with and fry the brake switch on this module. The module also has wiring for brake lights which is a cool add on. I used some cheap red LED trailer clearance lights added to back of the car for brake lights. The module also has a power outlet which I used to wire the existing headlights to keep those working as well. While I was at it and since my kids are already pretty good drivers, I also ripped out the old steering override motor to make it easier to steer the car. With 24v of power, it runs great and it’s pretty fast. It does standing donuts if they punch it. I think it’s a great way for them to learn how to balance power with the new pedal. All n all I think it turned out really nice. Not sure how it will do in the long run.

Pretty good Controller for DIY and older E scooter Replacement
This fit perfectly into my SunL Tiger and wired into most of the components seamlessly. the only issue i had was wiring in the motor , the wiring was in reverse so i had to splice a few wires and get it to work but with no issue (if you do it properly) the past month the controller has Exceeded the performance of the original with no issues. If anyone experiences any issues with acceleration the fuse link may be the culprit ;)

No instructions but i got it anyway

Good swap, not perfect but works well
Controller wasn’t a perfect swap. You need a little bit of knowledge and skill to rewire without the exact wiring harness matches. I was able to do with the aid of you tube. Don’t be afraid to tackle it there are plenty of resources available to help rewire. Good value

Defective
Had to cut the connectors off to wire it in. I get voltage in. Voltage acorss the switch and 5v out of the throttle and a varience across the signal but 0v to the motor. Followed the wireing diagram and tested. There is a fault with the unit. Junk. Cant return as i cut the connectors off. Save sure self some hastle.

36v controller works
The media could not be loaded. Works for me so far. I’ll make sure to update if anything happens to it. I’ve also plugged in the brake and it stops the motor when applied, also a step down converter to 12v with a set of LEDs which also worked. Once it’s all buttoned up I’ll add a photo

Affordable Price But Poor Connectors And Instructions.
This unit was half the price of buying a factory 36v Razor scooter speed controller which is great if you are on a budget. My biggest issue was the quality of the connectors. They were so poorly designed that even though they seemed to plug right into some of the Razor scooter connectors, the metal tabs inside were so loose it was causing intermittent running issues. The scooter would work, then suddenly stop working. Wiggle the connectors a bit and it would magically start working again! I ended up having to cut off the majority of this speed controller’s wiring connectors and soldered the wires directly to the motor and throttle which fixed those issues. One big issue that took me forever to figure out was that you need to jump the two wires of the “key switch” connector in order for the unit to work at all. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out why I wasn’t getting power to the speed control when I realized you must connect them together.
