Loved by my 13yr old
Bought for my 13yr old. This book had her gripped for a good 3 days. She isn't an avid reader at all, but she loved this book so much. I've now purchased all the books from the series for her.

Love this book!
My first read from Kathleen Glasgow was ‘the girl in pieces’ I fell in love with that book from the get go. I decided to read another book of hers and wow I’m not surprised by how much of a great read this was too! I recommend you give it a go if you like ‘girl in pieces’

Good book and well worth a read
Sent quickly after ordering, received good communication from the seller. Arrived in mint condition, according to the person who it was meant for they really enjoyed reading it. Would always get my books from Amazon..

A heart rending, emotional, YA read
This is a heartbreaking, emotional YA read about a young girl who turns to alcohol as a way of coping with her adolescence and family issues. It’s not an easy read and I found the writing a bit ‘clunky’ and disjointed at times, but, overall it’s a good read about a difficult subject and I hope it helps readers who are having similar experiences.

Lovely book but came with dirt on the cover
I can't wait to read this book as I've heard great things about it. However, amazon sent it with dirt marks on the front and a slight crease at the top. I did manage get the most of the dirt off.

The author Kathleen Glasgow is an amazing writer. I have 3 of her other books and I love all of them. I recommend this one and her other books. You should totally get this. Especially if you’re interested in the kind of mental health ish book that’s not just facts but still a book you know.

The Glass Girl by Kathleen Glasgow This is one of my most anticipated reads because every single one of Kathleen Glasgow’s books that I have read to date have been incredibly raw, powerful, heartfelt, and inspiring. The Glass Girl is no exception. Kathleen Glasgow has beautifully written a youth in crisis. This read dives deep and does not shy away from the uncomfortable and in no way glamorised the real issue. Bella is a 15 year old girl who is hurting, she is an alcoholic and her journey is hard. Throughout the book you are given glimpses of some of the worst moments and also given insight into how she learns to shut it out and become numb. One thing I found so relatable was the conflict Bella would feel between her brain and her heart. This book is hard to read in the sense that it makes you face some uncomfortable truths about serious and potentially triggering situations and feelings. This book is an emotional read and felt so raw and honest. Moments • As for me, I am a watercolour. I wash off. • I’m broken and I’m breaking things. • I’m not a whole person. I’m just random flaps of flesh stapled together to resemble a person on the outside.
