FN155 Firstnote Recorder

I bought this for my grandson (15 months) because he needed his own "flute" when he sees me practice my flute. He can't play it yet but likes to hold it when I play. He totally understands the concept, and we're working on blowing. It's a solid, inexpensive recorder and has a fine sound.

My daughter saw this and fell in love. Her favorite color is purple, and she will be learning how to play the recorder in school in a week. She was so excited to rip open the package, and her face fell when she saw it was blue. We haven't opened it, so I'm not sure how it works, but we're already disappointed.I didn't see anywhere in the description that specified that random colors would be sent. :(

My little granddaughters love their recorders. It's a very sturdy little thing and plays a very nice tune. They sent blue and I didn't know it came in different colors, but I see here that there is a lavender or pink one. It's a very nice gift idea and not expensive at all.

This recorder is as the ones used in schools. It is firm, the notes are crisp. The price was amazing! I will definitely purchase additional recorders. There are no cons to report.God bless you!

I bought this for my 3 year old b/c she is obsessed with Musical instruments from watching Little Einsteins. It's awesome! It's very sturdy and not cheap at all. She has been playing with it all day. I like that it's not a little kids toy, it's the real thing. I'll have to help her figure out how to play it for real when she get's a little older.

I bought an assortment of recorders for my children to encourage their emerging interest in music (thanks to Little Einsteins). These recorders do have a tendency to squeak more than a higher quality one, and they can get a little shrill, but they are perfect for what I need, and their quality exceeded my expectations at this price point. Great value!

This is a very sturdy recorder. I bought two just in case my grandson broke one. He is 20 months old and loves music. So worth the price. I'll save the second one for when my 3 month old granddaughter is old enough for it.
